Clockwork is absolutely unique and ethereal, although obviously it’s not classical music the piano reminds me somewhat of Debussy and the whole instrumental with Taemin’s magical voice make it sound dreamy and poetic. This music and lyrics tell the story, listening to it is like reading a book. It’s a very special song for special occasions and mood. And please let’s talk about Taemin’s voice cause it’s really in songs like this where it absolutely shines. He has this unique quality to his voice - it’s like a warm blanket that covers you softly and makes you feel warm and cozy. I just love his vocal tone and how he uses his voice so consciously throughout the song to express all shades of emotions… I hope you’ll react to Sad Kids in the future - it’s another song with gorgeous vocalization. Taemin’s vocals are so beautiful and the percussions gives the song something special. I can listen to this song with my headphones on repeat and never get tired of it.
