  • This is just a video comparing the fire rate of the Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 in Hell Let Loose to the fire rate in Post Scriptum. In my opinion the fire rate of the Lee Enfield No4 Mk1 is far too slow in Hell Let Loose, which is not accurate to its fire rate in real life and I think Post Scriptum depicts it more accurately. If you don't believe me I'd encourage anyone to go look up mad minute videos on the Lee Enfield No4 Mk1, its fire rate is extremely fast thanks to the slick bolt on it. Bloke on the range is a good channel to go watch his video on it.

This. Especially since brits get no semi-auto rifles they should really buff it. The fire rate on the No4 was what made it such an extraordinary bolt-action rifle that the Commonwealth kept it until 1956......

Having owned a Lee-Enfield and a Mauser, the bolt action on the Lee-Enfield is much faster. You can fire it as fast as shown in PS. Also, the sim labels the Lee-Enfield Pattern 14 rifle. The Pattern 14 is a Mauser action and not a Lee action.

I’m pretty sure that’s why the British chose the lee enfield over other rifles was because it has a 10 round magazine and you can shoot 10x faster than the German soldier with his k98 and the fact that the British can’t do that on hll kinda annoys me lol

Even the sound of it in HLL is weird. The British update says are lot about the new update and the direction they are heading.

As someone who's never fired a Lee-Enfield at all, let alone at mach 2 bolt cycle rate, i can assure you that if i was handed this gun i would fire it exactly like Hell let Loose LOL

Reducing the time it takes for the hand to grab the bolt and cycling it a little faster should be enough to get it to feel more like the PS Lee Enfield.
I dont feel that they should copy the Mad Minute grip because that was really only done in early WW1 before there were enough machine guns, and was more for bragging rights later.

It was standard 8nfantry qualification for commonwealth forces across the globe. Australian 8nfantry for eg had to achieve the mad minute standard to complete basic training in ww2
