In 2023 for the first time i donated my blood willingly to a stranger who was lying on the ICU bed and on the next day i met accident and I don't even know how three of my close friends had the same blood group as me. They were there and donated their blood when i was still unconscious and save my life. And today DU reminded of my friends and I'm forever grateful to everyone who was there for me.

I have donated blood 19 times so far. I have also arranged more than 100 people to donate blood since my college days. I am more healthy every time I donate blood😊.
Naga Hospital is also doing very good job in following the formalities before blood donation. I can't say the same about some private hospitals in Kohima. Some of them did not bother to check my bp or weight or other formalities before blood donation. I wish the hospitals follow proper formalities before blood donation. Naga Hospital even give proper counselling before blood donation.
We also need an awareness to donate blood time to time.

This video is great bringing awareness to the people but i have notice that people donate blood for needy but the hospital make business out of it so it's a sad reality 😢

I don't against anyone here but system is not like that here explained about blood Bank. Here we use to donate our blood freely willingly to help poor and needy people but they sale that blood and fresh blood is more preferable for every patients. Donate blood save life.

I agree with donating blood and I don't mind donating my blood if needed and I did donated, which gave me a great pleasure, after that my skin tone changed, I swear...My family had a hard time looking for blood for my Dad back in 2020.
