The size is my main if not only gripe. Not saying poor lume is fine, or the other cons you mention. For the originality aspect alone, I am fine with the asking price. Pleasant surprise that North Edge have come up with this. I always thought the branding on this works. Their designs are often big. It's a real market. Good for them! Thanks for the review.
I've had this watch for 2 months. He walks very precisely, during this time - while he was still on the rotary - he was 2 seconds faster. None of my mechanical watches are that precise. This watch runs on the Miyota 8215 movement. I have two other watches with this mechanism, but they do not run as precisely. Why? By the way, I will say that the only watch I have that is comparable in terms of accuracy to the North Edge is a watch with the PT5000 mechanism.
It's a nice watch. Really nice looking. The lume pig in me says no. Good watch for larger wrists. Addiesdive sumo is a better big watch. It is still a good watch. My 8215 on my corguet railmaster style is several years old. If you apply torque to the crown to adjust time backwards the seconds stops on mine. So it hacks. Plus using the same process on my vostok komandirskie hacks aswell. I learned from the vostok and tried on the yota.😊
56mm?!? Is this an homage to a Nomos? 😂😂 It's a nice looking watch and the sunburst is fantastic. It's simply too large for my wrist though. Thanks for the review, I wasn't familiar with this brand. Cheers!
They have some pretty cool ani-digi watches that seem like they are re geared towards the outdoors. This one's more of a desk diver. I like the looks of their stuff
Взял себе такие несколько месяцев назад. В целом - нормальные часы. Мийота спешит , в среднем, на 9 секунд в сутки. Люминесцентный состав - слабый. Светит не ярко и не долго. В остальном - нормальные часы.
Well, would you look at that. Even down to the anchor. Case looks different but all other details are spot on. Even when it's "original" it's really not...lol. Thanks for sharing. Never even heard of the brand. 🤷
Nice watch but too small for my wrist. I don't like watches that look like diving watches and are only water resistant to 100 meters. A diver who is not a diver. This is rather annoying.
Good to see an original design at this price point, thanks for reviewing. Too big for me too!
EMILE CHOURIET CHALLENGER DEEP
It is an Homage Watch
It's large but it looks great on your wrist. A fine looking effort from North Edge
That Lorier is GORGEOUS!!
I know, I can't stop looking at it.
@@EscapeWheel Perfect! 🍸🍸

You make some good points. Thanks for watching!
Looks nice and good size. Thanks for the review. Sad that there's no screw down crown and hacking.
Nice looking but it was hard to shorten the bracelet due to the stuck pins that won't come out.
Apart from the anchor on the dial i like the design. Good review.
the design is not theirs. google: EMILE CHOURIET CHALLENGER DEEP

It’s a hell of a first attempt. But yeah, way too big. Thanks for the great review.
Appreciate it man, thanks 🙏

😂😂
What's 'original' with this watch?
Tastefully done, on the thumnail i didnt think it was an AliExpress watch.
Lol, yeah, it (the watch) looks nice
Not really for me mate but good job covering it, as ever 👍👍
Thank you kind sir. Appreciate you tuning in 🤜🤛
Пользуюсь такими несколько месяцев. В целом нормально. Спешат около 9 секунд в сутки. Главный минус - слабый люм, хватает его не на долго...
I was checking the North edge catalogue just yesterday, and wondered if anyone in R/Chinese watches had already checked them out.

@@EscapeWheel Yeah I stumbled upon their Mars 3, carbon fibre with what looks like a chinese Casioak module. Maybe I'll get one on 11/11

NorthEdge went south? Damn... 😋
Inspired by sea-gull😂
The design seems to be lifted from Emil Chouriet

@@EscapeWheel Me neither until someone else told me, I should have vetted beforehand.
