Nice update Dave. Those departure boards are a fantastic addition to what’s going to be a great model railway 👍🏻 Looking forward to seeing it at Chester 😀
Hi James, we've thought about it, but keeping to a timetable would just be too difficult with 4 lines and 35+ trains to manage. The option we've gone for is to trigger the boards based on the train passing a certain point - that way we can guarantee the train being displayed is the train you'll see ! Hope that helps, Chris.
Worried About Pete Breathing. Pete always sound like he struggles to breathe you can hear how bad his chest is in the videos. I hope he see someone as it can be improved. Take care Pete you make this all it is. Tony
Why would you use the Royal Mail to ship internationally? They don’t have any services abroad, they just hand your parcel over to the local post office. Go DHL. We made that mistake and had one shipment stuck in Spain of all places for a month and we ship worldwide.
loving the boards, see you again this year at Chester :)
Fantastic video again Dave
it gets more interesting every time! The attention to detail is phenomenal. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Bob
Thanks Bob - really appreciate the comment :). Chris
Absolutely fabulous looking forward to Chester
Thank you Alan - appreciate the comment. Come and say hello when you visit. Chris.

Thanks Stevie. I'm really hoping the boards are going to add something special to the layout. Chris
I really hope I will be able to get up to Chester to see this layout. Looks amazing.
Thanks for your kind words. Come and say hello if you make it. Chris.
@@CheshireLines Thanks I will get to see the layout at the Milton Keynes show in October 😊
Superb project ✌️💜👍😊
Very nice 👍
Coming on well ,but much work ahead and so little time .I wish I lived nearer so I could help out . I live in Essex
I wonder if anyone does the old flip type information board as a graphics program. Hearing them flip is something we remember from stations.
Quick search the panels are still made in USA. Called split flap display, found one expense app.
What would be very, very impressive is if you could link the departure boards to an actual schedule running on the model.

@@CheshireLines Ahh! It's a splendid thing that they actually do synchronise. I shall look forward to seeing this.

Thanks for the tip - I'll pass it on to Russell. Chris
Tell the lad it's a RAILWAY STATION not a train station!!
Southern now refers to "train station" in some press releases. Grrrrrr!
Ooopsy hehe
Why choose to run the virtue signalling West Coast Pride liveried train?
For goodness sake. Get back in your cave!
Because it annoys you?
@@tonywebster5768 Yeah a somewhat prejudiced comment from Lover of God. These trolls are just beyond boring.
Why choose a virtual signalling username?
Don't stop an 8 car 350 at the 8car board on P2 and split it. You will end up on the AWS 🧲!
So many times we’ve split trains and ended up on the TPWS grids too.. aargh 😂
