It's amazing how I get video suggestions that all basically say the same: "Keep on doing it, don't give up!" when I'm questioning myself and why I should go on and feel frustrated about my drawings.
Well, because there isn’t really another shortcut to it i think. Practice is the only way to improve i think, combined with learning from past mistakes and learning new “tricks” to improve how you draw.
I need to draw the "unknown" part of sketching , i want to be unique (same reference but i can see my signature uniqueness). i will start with this Loomis Technique you're talking about 👍
It's not always true that a low contrast reference photo isn't good to work from. Sometimes, it's possible to add more depth to it by using darker shading to increase the contrast. Perhaps not for beginners, but I've done it. If the photo has good detail in spite of low contrast, it can often work out well.
Yes i know it’s possible but the point of my videos is showing beginners the best choices to help them get better, and i think for most beginner artists a good reference picture will help them improve quicker
@drawingexplained I did say not for beginners. But I've noticed that people often hear tips meant for beginners and keep doing things that way long after they have become able to move on to a more advanced phase of their learning to draw. That can actually inhibit their progress. In any case, I looked at your other videos and obviously they're for beginners. That's fine, as there are so many people who are deciding to take up drawing and don't know where to begin, especially if they never had art classes in school. Keep up the good work with your videos!
I’ve been trying to draw for years. but no matter how i try or practice, i cannot master anatomy, proportions and even perspective. I have a few issues in my like that is a big, massive obstacle that is stopping me from progressing in my art drawing… and i just have no self confidence. Also i have ADHD and autism and these conditions i have stop me from progressing. Also just want to say… you said that there are many artists out there that are willing to help out struggling artists like me? I asked so many times and i had no takers or no one wanted to help me. So i guess i’m alone …
👉Did you learn anything new that will help your drawing? let me know in the comments!! 😉⬇

If you really have been struggling for that long i would maybe recommend real live-lessons so people can teach you personally instead of online
@@drawingexplained Yeah, i’ve been looking for these in my area where i live and there isn’t any. either there is but very expensive…
