Sadly, this is one of my most viewed videos. Canon could definitely do better!
I am having a serious issue with my Cannon EOS M50 that no one seems to have an answer for or even be asking about: OBS does not recognize the camera at all. I try to add a new video device, and my cannon camera is simply not an option. I have gotten different cords and replaced ones that didn't work, wasted my money on that because none of them fix the problem, I have uninstalled and reinstalled several different Cannon EOS M50 utility and webcam utility softwares over the course of the past 2 months, and nothing works. OBS will NOT recognize my camera. I cannot even make it far enough to encounter one of the errors you talk about in this video. I am not sure why this is happening at all, but if you know of any solutions, or if anyone in the comments does, I would greatly appreciate it,
I just got the Rebel T100. The camera works as a webcam on google chrome on some sites like "webcam tester". Zoom will recognize the camera but no video shows up. OBS completely doesnt even have the option to select the EOS software as a device. Any help on this would be amazing!
@@jacobryan2731 so i have no clue why this worked for me as far as OBS, but in my EOS Utility software I use, I set it to open on remote shooting by default, and that somehow made obs recognize my camera. That being said your's is not an EOS camera, but it is cannon. So best I can think of is, make sure you get and your required canon software for the camera and keep it up to date, and try messing around with some of its settings like its default open up setting, basically trouble shooting from there, until you get it to work.
@@jacobryan2731 And on more thing, if you can get obs to recognize your cam but still cant see video, of course do what he said in the video and make sure you close out your canon utility so the video feed is not sent there instead of obs, but also that didnt work for me consistantly, so I closed out any other running applications I could in my task bar (such as elgato sound capture and nvidia settings) and that seems to have the connection working 100% of the time now. That is if you run into the same issue of not recieving video to obs after you get it as a device in obs
I know this video is old, but I cannot find any other videos for a solution. When updated my MacBook Pro to Sequoyah, my EOS Utility stopped working. I waited and when Canon and out with an update, compatible to Sequoyah, I installed it. I’m having the same issue… I use a Canon EOS R for webcam and I connect with a usb-c to usb-c cord to my MacBook. I had no issues until the Sequoyah update. Any help would be appreciated
Thanks for your tips! Unfortunately, I haven't gotten my EOS Rebel SL3 camera to work with my desktop computer, however, when I plug the camera in to my laptop with the same cable it does work. My problem at my desktop is that the output from EOS Webcam Utility is a black screen and the camera's screen just showcases a black screen with the computer and battery symbol on it. I've tried reinstalling chipset, usb, audio, and all types of drivers or even plugging it in the back of my PC to no avail. I honestly don't know what's going on since it clearly can work on my laptop. I've also tried turning off wi-fi and bluetooth, but no dice either. Any help is appreciated.

Can you transfer files to the desktop PC with that USB cable?
Thank you for this great guide :) It seems like there is a 6th common problem, using later cameras, which are not supported by the tool, like the R7. Sadly I assume, canon has discontinued the development and maintenance for the EOS webcam utility tool. If the R7 gets connected by USB and a software like MS Teams or OBS, which uses the camera input usually, is started, the camera crashes and gets in a bootloop. I wish there was a way of fixing this, but I don't think there is. This may (or may not) behave like this, because of the USB charging capability, so the camera switches to charging mode instead on detecting the needs for sending actual output.

It's unfortunate if they don't support it anymore. But if your model has a clean HDMI, you can use that. Which will give you higher quality anyway.
I have the following problem: I connect the camera (canon eos 600d) to my pc and it is constantly turning on and off (I hear the mirror and see the screen flashing for a second). But then once I use the camera using the software, the constant turn on / off disappears and I can use it. This happens only on one of my computers. When I use the cam on another computer it works fine. What could be the problem?

How weird! One thing I would try is a different USB port. Sonds like a PC problem, not a camera problem.
thank you , the video is very helpful. the problem I am facing is a bit different, EOS webcam works perfectly in OBS, but I can not get it to show up in zoom nor google meet. even if I delete OBS, the problem still the same, EOS for Mac Mini M1 for me only works with OBS. can you suggest a solution? thank you

Thank you so much! I had the second problem and you helped me with it. I had the right wire but didn't know that some wires are meant for charging only and some have the capability to transmit data even though they have the exact same ports. Thank you :)
i dont know if you still read comments on this video, but i have a canon 700d I am trying to get to work and I am unsure if the cable will work. Alternatively, is there an easy way to get it working via HDMI cables without the use of adapters.
Thank you very much. It was indeed the type of cable or simply bad cables. I tried with 4 different cables then I realized that it might be charge only cables out there for micro/mini USB. Thank you
Thank you, this was helpful. What about sound? I don't receive sound from camera in to zoom and in obs, any sugestions?

You'll have to do the audio separately. There's no audio over the USB connection with this setup. Slightly different, but to get audio from OBS to Zoom, check out this video: ruclips.net/video/szDBXQQ1kZY/видео.html
Thank you for this video! I have been using my canon 2000D as a webcam for some time now and yesterday, it stopped working all of a sudden without me changing anything on the laptop settings. It just doesn't connect as a webcam, but it connects for file copying or remote shooting with the eos utility. I even downloaded the canon webcam utility and clicked on repair and nothing happened. Is there anything you could think of that makes it not work and my life miserable? :) Thank you so much!
I have a T3i that works just fine on one computer but gives me the the USB cord X screen on the other and I can't for the live of me figure out why. I am using the same cable.
I've looked through hundreds of videos and forums, trying to figure out why my cam keeps freezing... I have an EOS 2000D where the screen cannot be turned over, so that couldn't have been the issue. In the setting it does not show a version of the firmware so that was weird, and then I realised I hadn't inserted an SD Card, and would you look at that... it works xD I wanna thank this video for making me consider updating the firmware and because of that realise I have no card in my camera hhaahahah

I am in the EOS utility and I want to start recording video remotly via my windows desktop, but there are no recording controls in the utility. Any help would be appreciated.

I think that recording button doesn't exist in the utility. Try the app, it works pretty well so long as the camera is not connected with the cable.
I have been using the USB to MAC for remoting shooting on my M50 because the wireless connection to the utility was slow and lagged on live shoot. Now the it doesnt connect with the same USB cable from the camera with the EOS 3 utility. I connected it to my Windows laptop and works perfectly, but not the Mac where I do my editing on. Do you think when I update to OS13 Ventura that the utility program has not been updated? If so, Canon does not show an upgrade for the EOS3 for this year. Thanks for your help and advise?

I believe you are confusing the EOS Webcam Utility (which is a driver) and the EOS Utility (which is the application). Try the former and I think you'll e alright!
@ I figured out the issue. There are 2 separate downloads, EOS Utility and EOS Webcam Utility. The EOS Utility is the full app and the EOS Webcam Utility appears to be a webcam driver. You need to close the full EOS Utility app for the EOS Webcam Utility to work in Teams or Zoom. Thanks for the video.
The problem I'm experiencing is that I don't have the EOS Utility installed, only the Webcam one. In Streamlabs, there is no red triangle, but it just says EOS Webcam Utility. My camera appears in my task manager for me to transfer files, and I can't find any way to close anything to get it to work as my webcam. Is there something I might be missing? I searched my Task manager, all the places where an app icon might appear. I really don't see any other utility installed.

If I remember correctly, the beta version of the EOS Webcam Utility had no icons, just text. Is that the one you're using?
@ I believe so. In Device Manager, my camera is listed under Poratable Devices and not under Cameras. And I never installed EOS regular Utility and cannot find it anywhere. But something is clearly using the camera for it be not appear as a webcam.

In other hand with the software i only receive the icon of not being well connected, my computer detects the camera, opens the viewer and even the model detects windows (Yes, I closed the image viewer even I uninstalled it to try to make it work u-u). Maybe i did something wrong instaling or with the cables :c Its an old one but almost new and it has HD 1080 Video recording so I don't want to throw it away yet jaja.
Ok my zoom says EOS Webcam Utility Beta BACKWARDS. I also run skype and Camtasia and suspect it thinks that one of the applications is running it simultaneously But this is the only one set to use EOS Webcam Utilty
Very useful video. Thank you. Out of interest why do you use Hi-Speed USB (Micro USB) and not HDMI (Micro - Type-D connector)? I ask because I've been advised HDMI (Micro - Type-D connector) is more stable. I've tried both and still have intermittent connectivity. The intermittent nature of the issue is puzzling. Any ideas?

In your comment you mention both EOS Utility and EOS Webcam Utility. These are both different. The first place I would check is to see if you're installed the right one.
If Windows doesn’t recognize the Canon EOS camera, try to change the camera settings. Open the settings in your Canon EOS menu. It has Auto power off and Wi-Fi/NFC options. Disable them first and then plug the camera to the computer. Now, your Canon camera should be recognized by your Windows PC. I hope
I‘ve got an Canon 60D and a new USB Type B cable. My pc recognise the camera and i can even transfer the pictures but at OBS there is just the screen with „EOS Webcam Utility“ Any sugestions ?

If none of the solutions in the video worked, then I'm out of ideas.
I dont have EOS utility but I still have this issue number 3 (no access to camera) what might be the reason for that ? But it works all fine on macOS ,issue only on windows
2 года назад
The only reason I can think of is that another application is accessing the camera. Often a restart of OBS Studio also does wonders.
Eos Webcam utility is not an app. It is a driver. It won't show anywhere in program list. If you want to see it and check if it is working fine, go to *Device manager* - then under *Cameras* , if it is installed properly, it should be visible there and to check if it's working properly double click on it.
I cannot seem to get my Canon Rebel SL2 to work and it is driving me absolutely nuts. Perhaps you may be able to help I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled both the Eos webcam utility, and the Eos Utility compatible for my camera model on windows 7 (which in my research windows 7 OS is compatible) I make sure to close Eos Utility when OBS is open I have turned wifi off Updated camera to the most recent Firmware I set resolution/fps to default in obs I have completely uninstalled other applications such as zoom, skype, and turned video functions off within Discord I have even gone as far as to allow firewall permissions for certain files located within the EOS webcam utility application I ordered a proper USB cable that connects my camera to computer and allows data transfer I have tried both the lcd display in the open and closed position I have tried connecting to different usb ports on my computer I have both a memory card and battery installed (battery is original canon battery that came with camera) I have watched about 20 other youtube videos, completely read canon's troubleshooting and Eos webcam setup pages, and still nothing After taking all of these steps, and plugging in camera to proper usb: All i seem to achieve is that the camera LCD displays that it is connected to the computer properly But upon opening obs, i continue to see the Grey/black "EOS WEBCAM UTILITY" screen. What am i missing? I feel like i have tried every known fix/precaution/setting possible.

If I remember correctly, the production release of the EOS Webcam Utility doesn't work in Windows 7. Try to find the beta version; that one worked for me.
The "no access to camera" solution presented here does not work. On some computers, even with the EOS Utility removed (or never installed), the dreaded screen appears.
my camera wont even show when i go to select which camera I want to use for my stream, I tried everything and it seems that my computer wont even recognize the camera, I just recently used my camera before I updated my computer, then once I updated it, It failed to recognize my camera to begin with what do I do !!!

@@seadogsquare The EOS Utility app is not what you need for the webcam. Rather, you need the EOS Webcam Utility driver.

@ I’m using an Elegato capture card to get full HD or 4K from the Sony’s Clean HDMI output. A friend swears he gets clean HDMI out of his T7i but I have to disable autofocus to have it. Which is a huge hassle. I can now get USB video from the Canon using the EOS webcam. But it’s pretty low res (1024 x 766) compared to even my web cameras
No matter what I have done the Eos webcam Utility for the T6i DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY The problem is a lack of sync between the camera and audio. I tried all recommendations and still the problem persists. I also discovered using an HDMI capture device I have the same problem. I am going back to my trusty Amazon $30 ( Canadian) webcam which as an mike attached. Bottom line, I cannot be bothered screwing around with such a defective product and instrutions that did not incled many things I had to do just to get an image on my PC. As usual tech is B.S. looks t me as if the camera speed is too slow to work with the PC.

That's correct, there is no audio over the USB cable. I always use a separate USB mic when I stream or record with this setup.
Number 6: Microsoft does Microsoft stuff. I mean with skype, literally everything worked, I once accidentially streamed a channel from Tuner card. But now teams tries to take over everything from a device and likely fails, e.g. with some bluetooth headsets or now with my camera that worked with teams on a different computer. The hint on obs Studio solved my problem., I enable the virtual stream and open it in teams.

I know this video is old, but I cannot find any other videos for a solution. When updated my MacBook Pro to Sequoyah, my EOS Utility stopped working. I waited and when Canon and out with an update, compatible to Sequoyah, I installed it. I’m having the same issue…
I use a Canon EOS R for webcam and I connect with a usb-c to usb-c cord to my MacBook.
@ Yes, I can transfer files with the cable, I've been able to do it either through EOS Utility and normally.
Thank you for this great guide :)
It seems like there is a 6th common problem, using later cameras, which are not supported by the tool, like the R7.
Sonds like a PC problem, not a camera problem.
thank you , the video is very helpful. the problem I am facing is a bit different, EOS webcam works perfectly in OBS, but I can not get it to show up in zoom nor google meet. even if I delete OBS, the problem still the same, EOS for Mac Mini M1 for me only works with OBS. can you suggest a solution? thank you
I don't use a Mac, so I don't think I have any good ideas for that one.
Thank you so much! I had the second problem and you helped me with it. I had the right wire but didn't know that some wires are meant for charging only and some have the capability to transmit data even though they have the exact same ports. Thank you :)
Thank you for this video, but could you help me about my problem it shows a similar logo that has a laptop but with a battery logo on top
Try using a dummy battery and an adapter.
Thanks a mil! I realize now I have a charging only cable
I'm glad it helped!
i dont know if you still read comments on this video, but i have a canon 700d I am trying to get to work and I am unsure if the cable will work. Alternatively, is there an easy way to get it working via HDMI cables without the use of adapters.
Thank you very much. It was indeed the type of cable or simply bad cables. I tried with 4 different cables then I realized that it might be charge only cables out there for micro/mini USB. Thank you
Glad it helped!
Your video solved my problem! I had noio idea there was a difference between cables. Thanks so much for making this video!
Thanks for watching!
*_💪👍good info markus👌_*
Thanks for watching!
@ Thank you :)
Nothing comes to mind unfortunately.
@ It is unbelievable, but I had to disable the Antivirus!
@@savvaspavlidis7774 Im having this exact problem! it was your anti virus??
@@boldbehaviourlab It's crazy, but that was the only thing to do, while disabling the firewall as well.
In the setting it does not show a version of the firmware so that was weird, and then I realised I hadn't inserted an SD Card, and would you look at that... it works xD
I wanna thank this video for making me consider updating the firmware and because of that realise I have no card in my camera hhaahahah
Excellent result. Thanks for watching my video!
Thank you so much! Oddly enough it was one of your bonus tips that saved the day! Turning off the NFC wifi mode fix it! Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Glad it helped!
Thanks! The problem i have is that the camera every 20 min. (Aprox) turns off atomatically. I have to restart it manually
I just got a proper micro usb for tethering. It works with EOS utility program BUT it doesnt work or show up on OBS at all when i try to add my canon camera. I dont know what the problem is 🤦🏽♀
I am in the EOS utility and I want to start recording video remotly via my windows desktop, but there are no recording controls in the utility.
I only use Windows, so I have no insights here.
Well explained, fixed my problem. Thank you sir!
Thanks for watching!
etected via Eos Utility…However Obs, Twitch, YT and Zoom are not detecting my camera… Just says obs virtual camera. Most people get stuck at a Eos Screen I cannot even select my camera. Please help!
Don't use EOS Utility. Use the EOS Webcam Utility instead!
Found a fix not mentioned for it not working in obs. If you have the eos webcam utility logo pop up in obs with no other icons on it then what you need to do is delete every video capture source in obs and re add one
Great solution!
For me what did it was changing a privacy setting in Windows 10 which blocks all apps from accessing your camera...
That's a great solution!
you are a fucking god send. NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND THIS COMMENT LITERALLY SAVED ME. IVE BEN TRYING TO FIX IT FOR TWO DAYS THANK YOU
hallo marcus, thank you for your video. Updated firmware on EOS M10, turned off wifi. I get a screen only stating eos webcam utility. no red indicators. please help if you can.

I'm using Canon EOS 1100D and as it doesn't have the LCD that pops out - I'm unsure what else can I do to fix the low frame rate & laggy footage + the black bars (since I have them introduced on video mode)
Then I'm out of ideas!
I have the correct data cable but I still get USB red cross camera icon.. Any clues
Hi, what can I do if Canon EOS Utility works but the application doesn't appear in my video capture sources? Thank you
if a use a USB multi-connector cable can work?
I'm not familiar with that kind of cable.
I have a t6i and there is a USB option and an HDMI option. it has the USB red x doesn't connect and I don't know what to do. Should i get an HDMI to USB cable and see if that works?
If that Canon model supports clean HDMI, then that will give you higher quality. So that could be a good option. But you'll need a capture card for that.
Hi, I have the black bars issue, but on the D5600 there's no video icon, tried to scroll on all of them and I always get the image with black bars... Any ideas on how to solve it? Thank you
No I've only used the M50.
I use eos web cam utility with my Canon 60d. And the problem is, that eos webcam utility shows me the camera icon with red triangle. Only beta version of webcam utility works normal, but I don't know, mb the current version is better?
I used the beta for a long time. Don't really remember any important differences between the two. If the beta works, go for that one!
@ thx for answer 👍🏻
great tipps! And I admit I have forgotten to remove the cap so often, hehe, but I love to have a laugh about myself so I enjoy this silly mistake.

Hello thank you very much for your video. But I have another problem, my zoom doesn't give me the canon utility option. When I open the canon utility itself everything works fine. I see the images from the camera on the computer but the zoom does not give this option to select the canon utility. Could you give me a tip? Thank you very much!
I believe you are confusing the EOS Webcam Utility (which is a driver) and the EOS Utility (which is the application). Try the former and I think you'll e alright!
Thank you so much for the information. Extremely helpful!!

Hello. My canon eos M200 shows black bars on the left side and right side and the both top and bottom bars. Is there a way to fix this?
I covered a version of this at 5:30 in the video.
Mine works when I use EOS web utility on PC for remote shooting but when I try to use the M50 for teams or zoom, I get the cable with the red x.
I believe the software for remote shooting is EOS Utility, not the EOS Webcam Utility.
@ The version I downloaded doesn't have Beta in its name. It appears as EOS Webcam Utility.
@ I believe so. In Device Manager, my camera is listed under Poratable Devices and not under Cameras. And I never installed EOS regular Utility and cannot find it anywhere. But something is clearly using the camera for it be not appear as a webcam.
Thanks a lot, help me so much this video.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome, No 3., solved. So helpful and great explanation thank you.
Thanks for watching! I'm glad it worked.
hi, i have a Canon PowerShot SX540 HS, i tried this but didn't work, any suggestions? PLEASEE
I want to use it on obs as webcam but it only shows a black screen
PLEASEE
Is that one of the compatible cameras listed on the EOS Webcam Utility page?
Also if you get the cable error at 1:36, make sure the camera is in video mode and didn't turn itself off. Sometimes I even had to unplug and plug the cable back in too.
Great tip!
Hi Markus,
unfortunately I have an issue in find my EOS camera utility on Zoom app and/or Teams even i have installed it perfectly on my laptop and the live view is working but once i open Zoom or Teams i found no option for choose my canon camera
by the way i have canon 4000D
First of all, make sure it's the EOS Webcam Utility specifically, not the EOS Utility.
If ur using windows 11 make sure to install the windows 10 webcam because there isn't one on the windows 11
Hi! I have this issue with a Canon SX40HS, its not in the supported models but I tried to use a capture camera and it only gives images of the photos, as if it was connected directly from the hdmi to the computer, not live video, any advice ?
In other hand with the software i only receive the icon of not being well connected, my computer detects the camera, opens the viewer and even the model detects windows (Yes, I closed the image viewer even I uninstalled it to try to make it work u-u).
Maybe i did something wrong instaling or with the cables :c Its an old one but almost new and it has HD 1080 Video recording so I don't want to throw it away yet jaja.
That's not a model I've tried.
Thank you so much this was big help !
Thanks for watching!
Any ideas?
I use USB because the Canon M50 Mark I does not have a clean HDMI signal.
@ Really - it seems straightforward to get a clean HDMI? ruclips.net/video/CJ9HLexTg5I/видео.html
On the Mark I you won't be able to use autofocus. The Mark II does have clean HDMI.
I have a Canon Rebel T6 and my obs does not recognize it at all. I have downloaded the Eos Utility for my camera but I can only see it inside of the program not with the OBS. Help!! :(
I never tried that model. But the software you need is the EOS Webcam Utility, not the EOS Utility.
the new sonoma update doesn't work, my camera wont show up on anything but the cannon utility. can you help me with this
That's not a problem I've come across so far.
I did all the steps and nothing works for me. I don't know what to do! A pc icon shows on the camera, but nothing happens on OBS, google meet or zoom. EDIT: I found out the 1.2 software version or above simply won't work with my canon 80D. I then installed the 1.1 version and it worked perfectly!
That's too bad. Thanks for watching anyway!
@ Hi, thank you for responding. I found out the 1.2 software version or above simply won't work with my canon 80D. I then installed the 1.1 version and it worked perfectly!
@@joaojuca Hi! I'm also having issues with 80D, have you rewerted firmware back to 1.0.2 or Web Cam software to 1.2? I see that current web cam version is 2.0. Where did you find older one? I have also updated firmware to 1.0.3 before trying this... Camera LCD is showing PC icon, and camera feed on PC is just letters "eos webcam utility", nothing else.
@@alen4945 Hey man, I'm glad to help. My 80D has the lastest firmware (1.0.3). The EOS Webcam Utility is the 1.1 version (the only one that worked), I simply typed "eos webcam utility 1.1" on google and that lead me to a Canada Official Canon website. That should be it. Good luck!
I have a canon g7x mark iii and I can't find the eos software anywhere please help
The updated link is now in the video description.
Canon EOS utility is just not showing up for me at all. camera is showing the connected to desktop image but No matter what software I use, OBS, Zoom etc... I simply cannot find EOS Webcam Utility.. have reinstalled about 5 times and it still does not show up.
In your comment you mention both EOS Utility and EOS Webcam Utility. These are both different. The first place I would check is to see if you're installed the right one.
@ sorry I meant webcam utility 😅 but either way I can’t find it anywhere at all.
I hope
Thanks for sharing!
What about fixing inverted camera
If you mean inverted as in mirrored, that's usually something you can change in the software you use access the webcam. Like Zoom for example.
It’s upside down as in inverted I couldn’t see anything in the camera to change it
I‘ve got an Canon 60D and a new USB Type B cable. My pc recognise the camera and i can even transfer the pictures but at OBS there is just the screen with „EOS Webcam Utility“
Any sugestions ?
If none of the solutions in the video worked, then I'm out of ideas.
I dont have EOS utility but I still have this issue number 3 (no access to camera) what might be the reason for that ? But it works all fine on macOS ,issue only on windows
The only reason I can think of is that another application is accessing the camera. Often a restart of OBS Studio also does wonders.
Or #6: EOS Webcam Utility says successfully installed, but no where can you actually find it. (It's not listed under video capture devices)...
That's a new one!
@ Yeah I can't find it either. Running Big Sur macbook with M50 Canon... any tips? Best,
@@Boissinova I got nothing on that one, since I don't use a Mac.
Perhaps you may be able to help
I have installed, uninstalled, and reinstalled both the Eos webcam utility, and the Eos Utility compatible for my camera model on windows 7 (which in my research windows 7 OS is compatible)
I make sure to close Eos Utility when OBS is open
I have turned wifi off
Updated camera to the most recent Firmware
I set resolution/fps to default in obs
I have completely uninstalled other applications such as zoom, skype, and turned video functions off within Discord
I have even gone as far as to allow firewall permissions for certain files located within the EOS webcam utility application
I ordered a proper USB cable that connects my camera to computer and allows data transfer
I have tried both the lcd display in the open and closed position
I have tried connecting to different usb ports on my computer
I have both a memory card and battery installed (battery is original canon battery that came with camera)
I have watched about 20 other youtube videos, completely read canon's troubleshooting and Eos webcam setup pages, and still nothing
After taking all of these steps, and plugging in camera to proper usb: All i seem to achieve is that the camera LCD displays that it is connected to the computer properly
But upon opening obs, i continue to see the Grey/black "EOS WEBCAM UTILITY" screen.
What am i missing? I feel like i have tried every known fix/precaution/setting possible.
If I remember correctly, the production release of the EOS Webcam Utility doesn't work in Windows 7. Try to find the beta version; that one worked for me.
I’m with Matthew. I feel I’ve tried everything except I’m running windows 10 with an SL3. Any tips?

I wish we could get HD out of my T7i I’m so angry with Canon I bought a Sony A6600 to replace it as my primary camera
Does the Sony A6600 give you HD over USB?

I use m50 mark ii and on my Zoom call screen saw Eos Utility webcam with red x. And I hdmi
This solution is not relevant for HDMI connections, only USB.
Missed one that I just had to address. Firmware update!
Ah yes, I talked about that at 1:10 in the video!
The solution is often OBS Studio!
