Nice view! Right over my favorite field Auburn Municiple. Reminds me when I got my PPL. That was my favorite field to do pattern work at.
WOWOWOWOWOW!!! Great views!! Good view of the light rail train. Good view of Angle Lake. Yes, I've swum in this lake. Good views of the Kent industrial and business parks. This is where the Boeing Aerospace development is. Good views of the business parks going down to Sumner. Great view of Lake Washington and Mercer Island! Good view of Sea-Tac Airport.
Good views of the Columbia River. Good view of Waterville. This is the highest town in elevation in WA State at 2600 feet. While this would be utterly laughable by Colorado standards, it way up there for WA. Good views of the Columbia Plateau and wheat lands. Eastern WA has, hands down, the most unique, most interesting land forms, topography and geography of any place in the 48 states.
On taking off, those smaller mountains over there are the Issaquah Alps. While they may look like they're part of the foothills to the Cascades, they are, in fact, the remnants of a older mountain range that existed long before the Cascades were ever conceived of. The Blue Mountains over in Kitsap County are also part of what's left of this ancient mountain range.
