      I would choose a good faux tree 🎄 but as I live on my own 😢I don't do the Christmas trimmings 😃

      Germans know how to do Xmas but if your on a budget this will do nicely good job 👍🇬🇧

    Many years ago in 1964/5 Gonks were a thing, and my then boyfriend now husband of 57 years bought me one: but it was more of a rounded creature minus the hat! I have always referred to the ones with tall pointy hats as gnomes. They are particularly popular here in GB as garden ornaments: garden gnomes that fish in fish ponds are particularly popular.

    LOL. I love that what we call Gnomes in the US, is called a Gonk in GB. Such a funny word. I hope we get the same products in the states. Some is just dollar store junk, but there's a lot of nice items there too.

      I'm from Great Britain and I've only known them as Gnomes too and never heard them called Gonk before 🤔. Maybe I'm getting old 😅👍

      @@curioustravellers It's a great channel because I can see what's on offer in the supermarkets before I leave home. I've noticed that the prices in Aldi's and lidl's are creeping up every month. Thanks 👍
