As the live mic race announcer for Mammoth Tuff and having myself promoted a few bike races in my day, hats off to Amanda and Sheek! They did a great job and did so many cool things for their racers! Thanks for the great video!
@@GravelBikeCalifornia Next year event on my calendar. Alot of Socal people there it looks like. This summer/fall rebuilding my rim brake cx bike post peak pandemic and looking forward to using for more than just cx races.
Right across that lake is one of the most epic mountain bike routes in this area. The Wheeler Ridge/ Wheeler Lake Trail. The DH section drops a few thousand ft, and puts you down just south of Toms place. It's a loose old jeep trail that is so full of pumice that you sort of have to "ski" down it. File under EPIC!
Loved this video. My family goes camping at Rock Creek Lake every year and I'm joining them next week. I'm going to do a loop around Benton Crossing and Hot Creek while I'm up there. I'm still a very beginner cyclist (longest ride is 43 miles on pavement with 1500 feet of elevation) but I'm aspiring to do Tuff next year!

I think the short course at Tuff is a great starter to get people to fall in love with gravel. So much packed into it!
I love the eastern Sierras. Lot fewer people than over on the west side of 'em
