Is there still salmon in Norway? Fly fishing on a small salmon river in July 2024

During the latter part of our annual fishing trip to Norway, we fished for salmon in a relatively small salmon river in Finnmark, Northern Norway. Of course, we used fly fishing, as it's the only allowed fishing method on this river. We were already concerned about the fish situation and worried about getting permits. What feelings did this evoke among the fishermen, and were there any fish left at all? Watch and know!
