Congratulations new starter. I want to tell you about a good thing to do for mats. Don't use the rubber mats get the large bathroom mats. When I was driving that's what I liked get up from bed. And it's so much comfortable. And when you get home you can wash them to.
Hammer app is free and a great GPS system for truckers. I’ve been using it for years. My cousin is going to Prime Inc in the Tanker division. I hate when Mega carries convince new drivers to lease when they have no experience in the game. Good luck!!!

You doing your thang. I drive 65 everywhere I go it’s just what it is. My fleet manager definitely keep me rolling. Getting that load assignment before I get to my 90 be exciting because I’m moving not sitting around waiting. If I have the hos I’m running it. 💯💯💯

I'm glad to hear that you doing well out there. I take my CDL Exam this Friday 1230pm. My class ended this past Friday. I have my concepts down on the maneuvers, entire pre-trip, and the entire incab.

Also, make sure your tire pressure is on point. Will help with MPG. 110 psi on steers and around 90 to 100 psi on drives. I know Prime uses the Doran 360HD TPMS so should be easy to check and monitor.

That’s great miles. You darn near beat me. I had a 8 drop load from Newberry, South Carolina to Bellingham, Washington. Could not get a reload because flatbed don’t usually load on the weekend. I only have 4 hours left on my 70
Keep up the good work , word of advice us your map write down your routine, just in your gps doesn't go out , I'm old school that's how I learned. You can make it key thing , watch how you fuel
Garmin Dezl truckers gps is the best I’ve used had it for almost 8 years now
Which one you got? I got the 710 but it's not what I expected I know you can't trust it 100 but damn it sent me down a tight ass street today lol.
No I got the 1st edition of the dezl dashcam was offered through the company I drove for at the time, I use that and the 710, the 710 will get you sometimes what I do I put in the features for hazmat and it will basically keep you outta F’d up spots 85-90 %of the time 🤞
Cool imma try that on Tuesday cause damn.. I thought it was trucker friendly lol.. had me looking like a bone of the week frfr.
It’s hard to find the original dezl dashcam unless you buy it refurbished~don’t know if Garmin had decided to start making that model again coz I haven’t looked for it in years~but seeing as how it all I have setup works

I run the Max Milage Fuel Catalyst to stop soot buildup. Soot is very bad for any engine.

Can you discuss the lease program? How much the truck lease is and how Prime pays? By the mile or percentage pay? Is there a way to see Prime's truck inventory? Do you get to pick your loads or are you still dispatched?

Facts girl. I came from a peter to a freightliner. Totally different. Yea I’m getting into to the groove too. I got three gps going just in case. Truckers path, garmin and Omni trace gps.

I see comments about the gps price. If you go 2 the wholesalers direct sales its still aboutbthe same as it is in the truck stop. I tried every outlet website & compared them 2 the truckstop price, it was a small difference but it wasn't like you were even gonna save 50.00 $$$$. If your without your gps & in a tight spot i would get it from the truck stop but if you can wait then get it from a on line seller.

Prime trucks are always the slowest trucks on the road. You still must be hauling some very light loads to average 8 to 9 mpg.

Pete loud asf just like I posted in your other video. At least you don't have the long hood kind that has a divider where the sleeper and cab come together. It's like 8" high from the ground that you will trip over it if you don't pay attention. How you like them magnet curtains that barely are long enough to close?
