Brady is still the GOAT, but Mahomes is clearly a better QB at the same point in his career as Brady. However, Brady's greatest years were the astonishing 7-year run late in his career where he made it to 5 Super Bowls in 7 years and won 4. Mahomes has a long way to go before he is in the serious GOAT conversation.

You know what’s funny - he eliminated Brady’s injury year but not Mahomes rookie year when he didn’t play. Good faith arguments are a thing of the list, it’s all agenda pushing
Not a serious debate yet in my opinion. But both will go down in history for sure. Brady for the dominance in longevity: 3 SBs in his 20s, 2 SBs in his 30s, and 2 in his 40s. Freaking insane!! And Mahomes for the fastest and best start to a career for any player, not to mention the most impressive playing style we've ever seen.
Not to take away anything from Mahomes. But when yo say impressive playing style we have ever seen.....go look up a young Marino. The standard of impressive young careers are weighted against his 1984 season.
Mahomes doesn't need to accumulate more total stats than brady to surpass him. He just needs to win more and pile up more years like 2022 as far as mvps, all-pros ,5k yard seasons, 40+ Tds etc .

When Patrick mahomes has seven rings, well, how seriously consider him as a possible equal to Brady. Nothing against Patrick, he's incredible. But 10 super bowls? Seven wins in super bowls? Nobody else is even close! Not even Patrick mahomes. But, his book is still being written. Good luck Pat. You're a worthy opponent! Good luck to you!
There is no doubt Brady is the most achieved NFL player, I'm not certain he is even the best QB of his generation... Mahomes as achievements and there is no doubt he is the best NFL player of his generation

@@chrism6609 in my opinion, Meaning was more talented even Aaron Rodgers, most of the time better QB than Brady, but Brady achieved much more... I don't understand how Jordan is the best player ever even not having the most rings to show...
@@robhodgman1360 okay, I get your point. Going to try to show mine, agreeably the 2001 path and superbowl was Brady hardest during his first three rings. Mahomes hardest was last year, do you believe Warner could take the Patriots to the superbowl? In the other hand, do you believe there was any other QB in the league that could make what Mahomes made last year? Win over 4, 2 and first seed, with no weapons, completely reinventing his way of playing. He never seeing something like this. Brady is incredibly achieved QB, but the eye test, the talent, the adaptation, playing the position in such way that everyone though it could not be played, he is the Jordan of NFL. The thrill every time Mahomes has the ball in his hand, never Brady had that, that been say this is not at all a stomping on the extraordinary feat Brady did for the NFL... But Mahomes is the best NFL player and we are lucky been able to watch him!!!
@@AcarubAveiroI see ur point but it sounds very biased. Mahomes isn't the only QB to have to overcome things to get to a SB. Whether it was Burrow leading his team there despite getting sacked like 5 times a game, or even Eli leading the Giants to a SB behind a pretty bad defense that year. In Brady's case he has been to SBs with many different pieces around him. He's never really had offensive Hall of Famers outside of Moss (who he only had for 2 seasons) and Gronk (who missed many playoff games and was banged up for 2 Superbowls). Never say Mahomes didn't have weapons when he has had Kelce (arugly the best of the best) on the field with him for every game he's ever played outside of 1 I believe. Not to mention, this past year the Chiefs had a top defense all year.
Brady proved he could win it without Bellichick, I would like to see IF Mahomes can do anything without Reid.
Montana EASILY
I really strongly believe Montana was the first real system QB. Perfected the West Coast offense that was never really used before and threw to the best football player of all time.
Brady is better. I am an eagles fan.
