- Cool Slander Facts: This video took 2 weeks to make because iMovie is the worlds most worthless editing software. Through extreme levels of trial and error and for a video that could have been made in less than an hour, this horrid software crashes, delays, and has so many ridiculous limitations that I about just said "screw it" and halted all video production. But I hate not being able to put out content so god damnit I'm going to .
As for the shipping: So right now I am getting more or less screwed over by the shipping service I am trying to use and will have to pay way more than I previous thought. With any luck I may be able to have it by the 12th but I will have to replace my monitors and possibly my keyboard and mouse.

@@HMAmeri Actually, the Iliad starts with Achilles throwing a fit over the fact that he didn’t get the woman he wanted after the Greeks conducted a raid on some nearby cities for supplies and captives.
It’s kind of the reason why he was refusing to fight for most of the book.
The episode with Pyrrha was not in the Iliad, and was a later story written by an author nearly 1,000 years after the original was written, by the Roman poet Statius, as part of his Achilleid epic. It’s basically fanfiction. You would know that, though, if you actually bothered to have read the Iliad yourself.
@@mojavefry2617 Lancelot & Galahad's EXISTENCES are historical (believed to be self-insert too on at least Lancelot's part) fanfiction, Medusa & co had their backstories rewritten by Ovid to be more sympathetic because he disliked authority figures but they fit in with the popular lore nowadays so I'd say it's fine.
The mythology around the Trojan war was exclusively an oral tradition for a long time before it was codified in the Iliad, Odyssey, etc. So there had already been plenty of time for regional variation and the author had to decide what lore to include or not as well. That doesn't mean the other myths didn't remain in oral tradition throughout the generations. Indeed, many of them inspired plays or other works that later codified certain versions of events.
Since this is mythology and not actually history, whilst older stories are generally regarded as 'more accurate', I don't think that any of the popular stories necessarily outweigh the others in terms of 'canon of events', especially when they don't contradict each other.

Achilles: People remember you not because of your fights in the Trojan War but by your relationship with your friend.

the Hector one is still burning my sould since he was added as he should be the most Based guy in the entire FGO universe
he was willing to sacrifice himself so that his brother could be happy, was a loving husband, a good father, a beloved Prince, a good leader and the strongest Trojan warrior just to be not even used as a secondary villain but also one of the most hated ever for his 2nd skill.
At least in the FGO manga he did had some moments of epicness and being a badass in America by doing some crazy feats like fighting the Godamn Karna or defeating Fergus wich are things that makes me wonder why in the actual hell is he a 3* to begin with or even worse. The worse 3* lancer and arguably the worst low rarity Lancer in the whole game as even tho his legen is that he was a Master of defense and yet even Benkei is better than him at that.
And we all know Benkei is quite literally useless wich speaks volumes.
Man, Mandricardo himself said all his skills are based of Hector legends and yet he's literally a better version of the same.
