Heard it on the live show. A fantastic insight to one of the greatest rivalries in the game. I’m a proud cork man but Tommy Timber is the greatest I’ve ever seen play the game. I just loved his “death-or-glory” way of playing the game.

Funny to hear the anecdote about Tom Kenny winning the sprints. I was in his class in 2nd school and he was absolutely infuriating.... good at everything. Soccer (Ireland U 15), Hurling, Football, good at school and handsome to boot. However the most annoying thing of all in many ways about TK was that despite him being "perfect", you couldn't even have the satisfaction of hating him. He was just so sound. Top man and one of the great Cork sports people along with Seán Óg there.

Great rivalry. One of the main reasons KK had such success was consistency on the sidelines and that was another reason they couldn’t stand up against Cody. They may have never played for KK again
Doing Seán Óg a disservice there Joe, he played inter country for another 3 years after that 09 league game.
