You are mounting incorrectly for AM5 socket. MUST mount with OFFSET , and use the other holes in plate (the upper ones). I have 7800X3D and i mounted like you and had like +5-6C more vs when i mounted OFFSET...

You missed a step which is screwing on the side brackets to the fan that would then connect to the brackets that you put on the mobo. Also saying which screws you are using would have been very helpful as well.

For anyone else watching, don't apply thermal paste the way he did. Spreading it out like that is unnecessary and can just make a mess. Most veteran PC builders know this. Pea sized drop in the center of the CPU. Even Arctics official install video shows this.

This is by far the worst installation I’ve had to do (CPU mount wise) lol. Especially since i already put the mother board in the case. Very tedious and vague . Thank you for the guide !

Is the wire coming from the radiator exclusively for RGB? Mine doesn't have RGB, but comes with that wire anyways

I have a question, what bracket do I use on the back of the Mobo? I have a cooler master hyper 212 and wonder if it uses the same bracket.

Seeing how easy the mounting is, with the actual reviews this cooler has, I have never been more certain about buying a pc component in my entire life.

I have found working with the 5000D (x2) that they are NOT as user-friendly as a builder would like. Despite the specs saying a Arctic's Freezer ii 420 will fit, it won't. Even the 360 is a chore to install. I think, moving forward, I'll use a better case. I like the look of the two 5000D's I have, but all things considered, they are not the greatest.
