Why is it that even something as trivial as saying “good evening” pisses me off so much when it comes out if Corden’s mouth?
It's the insincerity
@@NosyFella and the fake accent
Because in no possible universe is James Corden that formal so the phrase immediately exposes its own insincerity and artifice
“Good evening”
“CUNT!”
omg stone in focus monkey
There is no denying the joy on Corden's face, you can see it in his eyes. He knows that he can milk it and get some brownie points for his pretence of grief. It is almost like a competition. Limmy is spot on about this and it is a relief to see someone talk about it for what it is rather than pretend to be upset because that's how they are 'meant' to behave.
Bang on
"She's the only Queen most of us have ever known".
I mean Corden's not wrong there. I do have to admit I don't know of any living people who were also alive during the reign of Queen Victoria.
People seem to forget completely about queen Margrethe II of Denmark who is also currently reigning over there. that said most americans probably think denmark is in africa or something so i dont blame them for being clueless
Hasn't he interviewed Queen Latifah?
Ah man, I was looking forward to seeing good old Liz on carpool karaoke :(
Wish this was longer
Limmy: your analysis is grossly uncharitable and exceptionally accurate !
"The longest ruling monarch in BRIDDISH history"
*Shudders*
Corden is so patriotic he ran away to America.
Oh no , we are asking for trouble here
I think powers above him are holding evidence that hes gay over him to use him as a mouthpiece
This is especially difficult for me to watch because I liked the queen, so I feel like saying to Corden, "Keep my queen's mouth out of your fucking mouth".
I love that Limmy hates this prick nearly as much as I do
Yet nothing about Steve Albini. Whyyyyyyyyy? The humanity.
Corden has been always been very vocal about his dislike of Albini's engineering work on The Wedding Present's Seamonsters LP... not surprised he snubbed him.
Ooh the Brassneck!
@@lornai7171 arf...
The smile...that's just evidence of a shit actor pretending he cares about Liz Windsor's death
Hes so 'appy
he's smiling coz he knows it's really about him he gets his face on TV again
100%
he cannae dae anything but that stupid mugging down the lens, it's like he can't believe he's got to where he has and the joke's on all of us
Oh absolutely 👏
Exactly. There is no denying the joy that exists behind those cold eyes.
I've never seen Limmy happier than when he's noticing James Corden's narcissism.
It confirms his suspicions and fuels the general feelings of disdain. Same for the rest of us. There is something satisfying about being able to see beyond the pretence and the well-crafted public image.
Did he really say "in so sad tonight" whilst having a face that looks like he is holding back laughter from a tickle?
Strange bloke
Looks like he’s just got 5 and the bonus, what a cunny😂
I think it's just his fake smile that he's had on his entire career. He just can't turn it off anymore. Either that or he keeps thinking about the paycheck he just cashed to do this.
It was such an honor to be able to go and pay my respects to our late Queen by attending her vigil. What made the whole experience even more memorable was that Limmy was in front of me in the queue! Whilst we patiently waited, we exchanged stories and shared both laughter and tears. Thank you, your majesty and thank you Limmy. 🥰
Mate I was there too, what was really touching was Limmy not being ashamed to shed that many tears.
He was surprisingly down to earth and VERY in mourning
Wearing a Union Jack suit and homemade crown was a classy touch. A loyal subject to the end.
He drops the silly accent when you meet him in person as well.
Lucky you. He was stood behind me when i was at the vigil and all I heard was, "geez yer money or I'll stab yee" in his harsh Cockney accent. I thought it was a knife pressed into my back but when I turned around to confront him it turned out to be a baguette filled to the brim with the finest truffles.
Limmy, Cordan and the Queen is like the holy trinity of content.
It's a great idea for a sitcom but it has come a bit too late.
@@Muesliman467 that sitcom would inevitably turn into a violent and nerve-wracking thriller quite quickly.
It would naturally turn into a love triangle I think.
Limmy is the only sane media channel right now. I totally have respect for peoples need to mourn but the level of royalist propaganda is just making me feel ill now
Reported to the police
Bow down to King Charles you filthy commoner
Agreed like it's sad and all when anyone dies but it all comes across a bit fake
Would make North Korea blush wae embarassment ffs!🤢🤢🏴
Limmy isn't the media. Please don't make this about politics and propaganda. Limmy just has his own opinions.
My granny has seen 14 presidents too. He says that as if no one else has ever lived through 14 presidents. Like c’mon, that’s absolutely ludicrous.
Presidents are elected and have limited terms. It's absolutely laughable to say it as if '14 presidents have came and went and she kept her role' - we didn't have a fucking choice. How these people keep a straight face.
The Queen probrably shook hands with them all though, and or had a nice cup of tea with them.
@@vlnow okay okay okay - but apart from the handshakes & the tea... what has the Queen ever done for us??
@@neilgarrick6401 she intentionally kept Charles away from the throne for many decades.
@@vlnow good point well made
It always strikes me as weird that people will harp on about the Queen's duties and how hard she worked as if they aren't spending their entire lives doing harder work for infinitely less money...
Brainwashed by endless propaganda.
That is just flat out not true at all.
@@Fatb0ybadb0y What isn't?
@@UdumbaraMusic That the queen did easier work than the majority of people. She did work much harder - she started working more or less from when she was able. She served in World War 2 working as a mechanic and before that, she visited many of the worksites to boost morale. She worked full time well into her 80s, 20+ year after most people's retirement date. She was involved in around 430 events a year in which she would regularly make speeches, meet thousands of people and have a huge range of responsibilities. When she did semi-retire, she was still involved in around 200 events a year (more than one every two days). She would also regularly meet with the prime minister, oversee the decisions made by the government (arguably without much legal power, but she still had to oversee them). She also managed to go througout her whole life without a single scandal (that was a direct result of her actions) which is why she is revered by nearly every world leader. She had billions, but it wasn't like she was spending it on a PS5 and a huge TV or a Lamborghini or trips to Hawaii every other week. So it's flat out not true that she worked less than most people. A lot of people don't work at all. And you have people who play sports or act in movies for hundreds of millions.
@@Fatb0ybadb0y You're right. She has literal servants and her job basically involved meeting people - all for the pittance of a few mansions.
James Corden looks more and more like someone wanted to make a Winnie the Pooh doll out of actual poo
Good drugs there.
😂
This comment made me laugh
Baaaaah
He’s delighted that he’s getting the opportunity to make an announcement to America, about it. He can’t contain his glee that he’s gonna be a part of the announcement.
This is exactly it
Yeah, complete sociopath!
"Look Mum, I'm on tv! I'm talking about the Queen's death in serious tones! I'm important!"
Bang on the money
Aww God yeah!!! You can see the sheer delight in his eyes. What a weirdo.
Corden's eyes are so dead, it's terrifying
That tightening that Limmy pauses on after "I - like the rest of the world - am so sad tonight" @ 1:40 like he's thinking 'these fuckers have no choice but to swallow this bullshit and I'm definitely getting away with it.'
True, also that dead eye stare Limmy freeze framed in Cordens Nicki Minaj carpool vid...vacant, soulless gaze
It’s a shame the whole of him isn’t
I want to hear Richard E Grant's opinion on the queen's death
😣
OK, let's do it then! 😁
Come on the beeb,.. you know you want to? 😊
“I just saw … the death …. of Queen Elizabeth II ….. nothing …. prepares you for this. I cried, I cheered. I fist bumped the air”
“I’ve gone to heaven by mistake”
“I can’t even be fucked talking about it” is the exact correct approach.
it's what I say before going off on a two hour rant about it.
Him trying to act like a normal person is fking hilarious, James Corden is the worst AI on the planet..makes Zuckerberg look human when he tries to fake empathy.
Made a pretty good AI in Gavin and Stacy
Nah, Corden's not an AI like Zuckerberg. It's not that Corden doesn't have emotions - it's just he consistently has the *wrong* emotions.
The smile is an inability to hide his pure sociopathic joy at delivering this news knowing that millions of eyes are upon him.
Reminds me of Tony Blair's "this is not a time for soundbites, but I feel the hand of history on my shoulder". He is fecking DELIGHTED she died so he had the opportunity on a big TV show to showcase his range

Corden's smirk is only second to Limmy's.
Corden actually used this opportunity to land himself the role of the Cheshire Cat in the next Alice in Wonderland remake. Good on you, James.
Oh God, not another cat

I thought it was a real tragedy to hear a 95 year old had passed away after living an absolute lufe of luxury, wanting for nothing and never doing a hard days work.
I, like the rest of the world, admire Limmy’s full head of hair and perfectly normal hairline.
Limmy missed Corden's 'Briddish' there. Is he losing his touch?
“Her presence… her sheer presence will be misssed”
But what did she do?
“Her presence tho”
It's actually a great point. Like I only hear from anti monarchists about her "achievements" (unsurprisingly they focus on the bad things). Meanwhile pro monarchists are like "Oh no, the queen is dead which is bad because she died"
I hope my family will have something more to say about me after my death
@@angelikaskoroszyn8495 “her years of service”

The smile to me looks like he’s trying to hide a smirk.
He's hiding a smirk by smirking?😏
@@ManWalksDogs You only see it if you pause tho. It’s pretty hard to notice if you’re just watching it at normal speed.
Or, if you think he’s doing it openly, I guess it’s just a big fuck you to the queen then? Maybe so, I don’t really know who he is.
@@-0rbital- I didn't need the pause to spot the smirk, I noticed it in real time before limmy mentioned it. I'd say it's not an anti-monarchy smirk - far from it - but one of a narcissist who's playing out a vision behind those dead eyes of being a spokesman for a mourning nation to a country famed for its royal fanatics who'll hang on his every word. This plays out great for him.
we need to get jah rule's perspective at this tragic time to make sense of it all

James corden on sandyhook
I would looove to see James Corden doin a deep analysis of some Limmy clips 🤣
masochist much
Oh here we go...
I have to theories about that smile that James Corden is making.
Theory 1: He's happy because of The Queens death but he can't let people know he's happy. It would make him look bad.
Theory 2: He's actually sad about The Queens death but his ego is so big, this an opportunity to make himself look good and compassionate. He's imagining all the praise people will give him for talking about The Queen.
The smile is simply about "I get to make this all about me."
He's smiling because he smells another opportunity to sing a song for everyone
Surprised he didn't re-work candle in the wind
Cordon impersonates Ed sheeran covering love will tear us apart in a hall full of mums that go camping in France with vouchers from the sun
Spot on from Limmy. I can just about give or take the whole Royal charade, I'm resigned to it existing and people being cringeworthy over it but...when people say things like 'I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say...' or 'you have to have nothing but respect for her'. It's antagonistic they know it'll get a response from anti-royalists, just express your own sadness rather than projecting it on other people, really riles me.
It is interesting how talk show hosts say inflammatory and divisive things, maybe they do it for Twitter arguments.
Smiling, cancel him
"She is the only queen most of us have ever known"
Queen Victoria died 121 years ago James, how old do you think people are
"You have stolen from Mr Soze, because you did not know you stole from him is the only reason you are still alive. He feels you owe him"
Would be funny if James Condom did a react video to Limmy. Lol
The smile on Corden is that he loves to do a big speech as it makes him feel important.
It is a bit fake init. Like I'm not happy about it and it's sad when anyone dies but it's just so fake how so many people are acting like they really are invested and affected by it lol
I bet Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands is raging
finally the queen is in a box
Limmy met the queen at a charity do once
He was fucking delighted
Good on you for calling out the fakers.
James really upped the campness for this one didn't he?

Corden looks like he's had some cosmetic surgery done. Starting to look a bit Weird. Give it a few months and he'll resemble a Children's Drawing.
Thank you Lizz Truss for ending the Queen 🙏

It's all for status.
I, ME, JAMES CORDEN got to announce the Queens death on television. I DID THAT!
she wasn't the queen she was a queen
No one mentions how Corden poshed up his accent the last few years I think just to appeal to the American audience. He never used to speak so posh when he was working in the UK.
If he was still in the UK he'd be playing to his 'working class roots'. More hateable than a politician.
I don't want to give Corden any credit here, but my accent has definitely become posher after living in North America because nobody can understand us over here 😔
You wait till Charles actually does get involved in politics......No politics please!
I come here to hate on Corden, it's a lovely community.
Corden is revolting
He's incapable of turning off that fake smile.

Sibling rivalry manifest. Limmy and your boy Corden are brothers in entertainment and sometimes brothers, dislike each other. There we go.

He’s a wrong’un. Something will undo him.
Corden's smile is what is referred to as "duping delight".
Wish you had carried on with what you were going to say.... left me hanging. I'm soooo done with it. There's nabdy saying it like it is.
i love the internet
Canny wait to see Corden doing one last carpool karaoke next to the Queen’s coffin on her Majesty’s final journey to London. What a tribute, what a legacy to leave behind for our great nation 🇬🇧
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, MY FRIENDS!
Sounds exactly the same as Boris Johnson during the lockdown daily updates. Could not give a shit.
No politics please
Two British media personalities , limmy and James
"She's been alive" is totally correct. My great grandma is 101. I could say all the same things about her and she's still alive.
The annoying thing about Corden is the whole eulogy is actually about him trying to garner as much publicity for himself as possible and using the death of an old woman to do so. He’d have been more respectful if he just paid his respects and then fucked off.
On the news today , a guy said that she was inspiring people to wait 6 hours in a cue, or inspiring other to camp on a hill for a glimpse. Is that not just finatical behaviour, since when did finatical behaviour become classified as inspiration, thats a bit like saying adolescents camping out for one direction tickets is an inspirational moment. The problem is, people want to feel part of something bigger but they will never find that in self protectionist fake empathy or any other emotion they want to portray in masses.
I can't believe that this is actually the take they used. He seems so fucking happy about being on TV that he doesn't even seem dishonestly sad, he just does not seem sad at all.
This was the only way I could watch JC's message & i'm still just cringing so hard
not even just cringeworthy this one, actually makes me a bit annoyed. The bit Limmy points out where he says 'we are all sad' speaking on behalf of everyone which bugs me and then the 14 presidents line as if she has kept her role whilst 14 presidents have been and gone...that's because they were voted in and couldn't run for more than two terms ffs haha.
Limmy should react to the child jumping out of the third story of the Buckingham Palace
