Ron, yes, SoCal is pretty interesting... Big Bear is 6752' MSL but only 65nm from the Pacific. Highest mountain in SoCal is San Gorgonio, right near Big Bear, and it's 11,500'. Thanks again for watching! Wayne
What is the clear hose that Levi has going into his mask, Oxygen? Doesn’t look like you have any hose at all, just curious if needed oxygen for some reason.
Mike, yes, Levi tries to use O2 after about 8000'... seems to prevent a headache. As we know, hypoxia affects different people, in different ways, starting at different altitudes. I lived in Tahoe for 20 years, did a bunch of mountaineering, and found that for me the effects start above 10,000'... if I'm going to be above 10,000' for a long leg, then I also don the O2. Thanks for the excellent question... and thanks for watching! Wayne
Nice ride, thank you. I will have to visit Big Bear at some point.
James, thanks for watching! Some SoCal spots for the list... Big Bear, Catalina, Kern Valley, Oceano. Be safe. Wayne
Spectacular views, wasn’t expecting to see snow caps!!!

Antonio, thanks for watching! Wayne
Like the edit on the video, nice work! Big Bear surely is beautiful, don't love the airspace around there but the views are spectacular.
Glad you enjoyed the video... thanks for watching! Wayne
