  • Happy to bring you the B-Side of Mr. Fortune! This 45 is insanely rare (fetching nearly 2000$ for a Mint copy), and due to the funky breaks of the A-Side, this song was cast aside when reissues came calling. A great track in it's own right I hope you enjoy this never before on RUclips soul blast!
The music of Frank Motley & The Hitch-Hikers needs no introduction to collectors, and those who are fascinated with our history. They played up and down Yonge St. in their day as many bands did, honing their craft and building a repertoire. Frank Motley was approached by Jack Boswell's Paragon label. This is where he released each LP from both groups as well as all 45's (with the excepton of Mr.fortune released on Heart Records in late 1971). The limited pressing that was a custom at the time for Paragon and Allied pretty much explains the inevitable gouging for these rarities as they're great records and vital parts of our history. Enjoy!

A song written by Clare Torry when she was composing for Valley Music in the late '60's.
