just what i needed! i came back to NG a week ago with a new character and wasn't sure if i wanted to be ranger or bow main but went with ranger since a friend gave me some tips on how to build it
I love the bow as I'm a bow main user. I just really wish there was an actual archer class where the bow was the main focus of the class. It's still great to me no matter what but I feel like it will always play second rate to katana and its a shame because it's such a fun and great weapon to play.
I played gunner for so long. Love the class. Will always be my favorite. But learning rifle then bow made me realize the bow is special. Tough to figure out that flow transitioning from days of TMG play but special none the less. I might just multi with rifle as the base weapon to experiment. Tampa country, Lets Riiiiide...
at 5:05 what is it that causes all the extra arrows to forum above your head? is it just dimensional ray or is it something else? sorry for the noob question i just started playing today and havent seen thoes appear once
That's the photonic arbalest/crossbow spawned by your Elusion Counter. Try scroll back to 3:29 again to check the details. It always come at three and attempt to aim then fire their shots toward your lock-on target, last targeted position by your aiming reticle, or even following your character facing direction.
Slayer sub focus more on bossing side of things due to its built-in Crit Rate bonus (+5% at most VS boss & synergy with anything related to Crit Damage) and PP gain on Crit Hit which really helps for some bow PA like Charged Ceaseless Draw. Force sub, while work wells in general due to improved Natural PP recovery, is often used for mobbing (battle sectors for example) from its Eradication PP Gain supplying infinite resource to dump your PA. Faster PP generation doesn't directly translate to more damage dealt especially against bosses when you have counters, Braver Combat, proper PA pacing, and Bow Attack Impact. I often switch back and forth between the two these days, so yeah.

Completely agree, on the same boat when it comes to Launcher on ranger
I don’t even play Braver, let alone Bow Braver, but I still watched the whole vid because it was hilarious
