i am a simple man. i see Madame Razz in a thumbnail and drop everything to watch that video I M M E D I A T E L Y The phrase "sometimes i hate the taste of being alive" has been added to my vocubary, thank you very much.
Considering the events surrounding Episode 9 of Season 4 it looks like she once had the ability to control time, but with old age it was lost and so she's basically untethered, and drifts between the consciousness of past and present her Because Mara directly speaks to Adora, the only way Mara could know about Adora, is when Madame Razz speaks her name
I'm a 100% convinced that Eda is based on Baba Yaga, a witch in a house with legs helping out a female protagonist find light, she fulfills the same role for Vasilia in a fairly tale, the og reluctant mentor
Iroh really is someone every young man should have in his Life man :( after all these years as an old crusty 24 year old dude, I still love it when he comes up in videos :) great work have a nice week
I love this movie so much, I would be happy to make a video on it!!! I have a lot of Halloween content coming up soon, but this will absolutely be on my to-do list :)
I do think Shadow Weaver fits into the Reluctant Mentor role as well. Well maybe more teacher than mentor but she does give Glimmer the boot to the butt asking her what type of queen she wishes to be.
If you love Aizawa, you should read Vigilantes, or at least his chapters in it. The full Shirakumo backstory is expanded upon in it and it is really tragic. You learn that Aizawa started off like Shinso, kinda of a loser who was incapable of keeping up with his classmates. After Shirakumo died though, Aizawa became obsessed with being a hero, spending every single moment working towards being a better one. He went from a loser who could barely run a lap to who he is currently in manga, all on his own. Seriously, read Vigilantes, it is so good.
Ok i am REALLY confused about madame razz so i have have 2 questions. 1. Are her flashbacks also timetravel?: becouse if not than how did she now adoras name? and if you are saing that she miss remembered it then how did mara now about adora? 2. How did she survive 1000 years (edit):sorry for my english
it's unclear. My theory is that she exists throughout all of time, but her perception of time is disjointed. So Madame Razz will "always be" but she doesn't quite know where she is. I hope that makes sense.

HAHA Thank you Jaron! I appreciate your support as always! Madame Razz is such an icon. My love for her truly cannot be measured!
I don´t think Razz is remembering Mara. I think she´s literally living in two different time dimensions at the same time.
I love this theory

I feel like Eda from The Owl House fits the 'Reluctant Mentor' really well.
