Nice machine Geoffrey and you look like you know how to use it. I have a soft spot for old gas/petrol powered machines. It wouldn’t take much to get this one to run nicely under load. Looking forward to more
*The hawk being that close was pretty cool Geoffrey!* 😮 Glad you could get the machine running and operating to show us. 🔧🔩 Pretty neat seeing the Mack setting there too. Does that 10B have an IH gas motor? EDIT: Think I see the IH stamping.
Hi Geoffrey I am curious and I don’t mean to be critical but that bucket looks like it’s to big for the 10-B or am I out to lunch? It’s such a neat machine it would be nice to find one in good shape of course I would need to win the lottery first 😀🇨🇦
No, you aren’t out to lunch. After I posted this I thought I should do a more detailed video about the machine. Homemade boom longer than original, much counterweighting to makeup for long boom and lengthened bucket. This machine was pushed way beyond factory specs. I will do a video soon showing modifications.

What a sweetheart!! I really like that little 10b! I have always wanted a 22b
22B was first machine I ever ran, hope to acquire the very machine someday.
Love seeing the old iron working again
Thanks Geoffrey. Sounds like the engine is struggling under load. Cheers Evan.
It was, even though it was top soil it was incredibly dry and hard to dig.

Yes, it was repowered with IH 6.
Interesting machines there mate
It sounds like the power plant needs help! However, it’s better than mine!
Yes , it needs throttle and governor work but it gets the job done.
