    your explanations are so clear sometimes teachers in school skip out on the basics such as the efferent arteriole going back around and leaves us confused after wards I wish you made more biology videos

    I've got a big test in AP Bio tomorrow over homeostasis and excretion, and this helped so much! Seeing everything everything drawn out helps me to interpret what my teacher said during her lecture, albeit short because of our short class periods. Thanks for helping this make sense to me!!!

    I use this for my studies. I study in 7th Grade and my teacher had showed me this. I decided to go through it for it can make me easy to study as in a form of a video. Even though it was posted 6 years ago, it is still present in our lives.

    This shows (for just a moment) the capillaries that do the reabsorbing. That was the missing piece for me, and it might be good to show it in this video as well. I had reabsorption and secretion mixed up until that part showed, because I thought that reabsorption meant going back into the nephron, and secretion mean leaving the nephron. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS VIDEO!!

    A great video that I have linked for my class. The only correction would be that the apical membrane lines the lumen of the nephron (in a brush border form to maximize surface area), and substances are reabsorbed from the filtrate across the apical membrane and pass through the basolateral membrane into the interstitial space (this is reversed in the video). Thanks for your work!!!
