Your intro was smashing! I literally subscribed on watching it. Congratulations on your move to Australia 🇦🇺! That was brave of you. I cannot wait to see Australia through your eyes.
The window panes divided in half mean the house was built approx 1930s. The raucous bird call in the background was a koel (koe -ell) like a cuckoo, males are all black. Get to know the local birds.
Huntsman are harmless. They are good to have around as they will get the insects. The place you got is an old style building as for the high ceilings and windows.
You should have to pay water usage - landlord pays for the water connection. There is council tax also, but that is covered by the landlord. Laundry outside is very uncommon, you’d only find it in houses built prior to 1970
Huntsman spiders won’t harm you at all, aside from making you jump when you first see it inside your house. But you can leave them alone and they’ll be out of sight for weeks, eventually leaving without you even knowing. They’re looking for cockroaches and any other crawlies you might have. In summer, the cockroaches are unavoidable because they live under the ground and the warm air brings them out to explore for food. I hate them! Thank God for the Huntsman!
How about the spiders is it ok from the location your living as I want to move more to the city to avoid big spiders but its about affordability. Plus is that 500.00 per room or for the whole house
Honestly we've had 3 huntsman in the house in 3 months! But we are surrounded by trees where we are so that's why :) Lots of friends who live in Prymont / Surry hills / newtown etc have never seen any
@@laurwingingitflyscreens are very common. Most likely in an older place not so much. Hope you settle in quickly and enjoy your new life. All the best!! 💖🐱🙏
Oh, you are in the Nth Subs. You are very lucky. The Magies have smiles on their faces when they SWOOP you and the Huntsmen chew a lot slower because their mouths are very very slightly smaller. Oh and all the spiders are a lot lot quieter. ( sometimes ). 😮😮😮
