This is awesome and a great road map! Two suggestions for future videos would be to detail what a portfolio should include and look like. The second suggestion would be to discuss searching for jobs and what level or type of jobs we would be able to apply for after preparing with the road map you provided.
A good project would be to pull job postings, vs job applicants and assess how much demand vs supply gap there really is. To some extent demand and supply drives whether or not it's a good field to get into. Software development - Java, Javascript has massive demand supply gap, as a result it's a great field.
Thank you for making this video. Both part1 and part2 videos combined answer a lot of questions. Also it would be great to know the level of skill or proficiency required in each sub-field like in python, SQL, statistics, EDA, ML modelling, so that one can know that this much or this level is sufficient and can move to the next field. How to know that understanding and skill is sufficient for a field, if there were any way to verify and check that, it would be great. Also a video on building portfolio according to target role would be really appreciated.
Yes. Statistics is a the foundation of data science. Great way to find out if data science is for you by taking the course in statistics like you said. .

Yes, the prediction of a viral video would be an excellent application. And above all a very lucrative in terms of money. A similar thing had already happened in the music field. Predicting which song will be the best of all time.
I'm confused about the last part. So would you recommend people just starting out to do the IBM Data Scientist course and then the Google Data Analytics certificate course? Or do the Data Analyst Course and then the Data Science Course? Thanks for the video!

Sundas "Data Analysis with R" should not be the option to recommend to learn R as it does not cover the basics of R. So for beginners, it should not be the recommendation. If someone have the basics of R and want to learn statistics and data analysis in R then go for it. Its super duper course.
Personally, I failed spectacularly at step 1 to find my niche, and was never able to go deep into data science.dont know why but I really don't like nlp, tried computer vision projects several times. i like numbers in general and feature engineering was the best thing about data science for me.
I think a lot of new people miss that step when starting to learn data science. I'm glad you figured out what parts you enjoy. That's an important realization.
Hi just a question provided I'm done with stats, ML, SQL and Python should I still be requiring this google certificate course as I guess by then one is no longer begginer to data.
Ok, thanks. Btw searched your channel from a LinkedIn post by someone for data knowledge and I'm truly glad I did. Nice informational video and prompt response.
DSA is all about writing time and space efficient algorithms. It will help you in the future but not as a beginner. However, I have started learning it because I am interested in learning algorithms and get better at advanced programming. I highly recommend Jovian python dsa on youtube. It will take your understanding of python on a much deeper level. Cheers!
Thank you so much mam....I recently started with the Google data analytics course and just completed course 1....could u please make a detailed video on statistics courses of coursera and share few important portions to focus on for data science...And thank you so much again for bringing in such simplicity in your content ❤️
The statistics course I mentioned in this video is pretty decent and good one to get started with. After that you can pick up the book mentioned here (kit.co/sundaskhalid/data-science-courses-certificates) and continue learning stats.
I've been getting into Data lately and have been enjoying your videos! I come from a JavaScript/node/MySQL and Python background but I've been thinking about taking the Google certification you mentioned in this video. what did you think about it?

great efforts in this channel. I have only simple enquiry as a new sql learner. I haven't made my mind yet whether to use sql server or not. Is sql server the best solution available for those who want to manage and automate databases inside a medium size company. Is there any alternative i need to consider right from the beginning or any applications that is relevant to integrate with the database being used. I consider myself a machine learning enthusiast and and would mostly like to automate business solutions with the engine being used. Thanks for taking time to read this.. God bless you.
But, for a data engineer who is going to build pipelines, tools to work with and visualise data isn't the analytics and statistics skill is waste of time? A data engineer need to work with programming and databases for the most part or am I looking at this from the wrong perspective? Maybe this is why Engineers, Analyst, Scientist often confused.
I am fresher got tester domain .I have 2 years band with company. i want to switch to data science could you plz tell me what to learn first and how to switch from testing to data science .
Does qualification matter to start a career in data relevant field like data analysts, data scientist and so on. Because iam confusesd between trying for a job after completing my 3 years of bachelor degree (Computer Science) or doing a master's program in Data science if qualification does matter to get into such jobs. Also i often fear that what if spending 2 extra years for pursuing masters goes useless (waste of time) to get the job. Need your thought and suggest about this mam.
Good question. A data scientist typically create visualizations using python and R libraries and don’t need to learn tools like tableau. Learning these tool would be more of a data analyst skill set.
Hey did you upload google data analytics part 2 video what should we do next to advance our skills after completion of Google data analytics certificate
