Sorry I’m late to your channel but I appreciate your work! I took my check out dive in 1976 at the park. It was called LCRA park back then. Cannot remember how many dives I’ve made in Lake Travis (and Canyon). We had a home for 15 years at mile marker 26 and sold it 2 years ago. It was a great lake to dive, live, boat and camp. However with the influx of so many people and the selling off of the water it now hurts my heart to think about it. We seen it when the levels were at 613’ and then a powerful storm moved in and we saw from our porch at 703’. Thanks for the memories!🤠
Took my checkout dives there and Canyon in '82. Back then we also did a snorkel run down the San Marco river. Came back in the early 90's and dove the shaker plant. If the flood you're talking about was late 90's, did an amazing dive at the park. The low water allowed the silt to dry up and blow away. About a week after the flood, they opened the lake. The water was up to the shack and air station. We waded/ swam out to the ledge and started dropping down. Being a bottom release, they let all the cold water out at the dam to lower the levels. This resulted in amazing viz, like 40', and being in warm water down at 110', no wetsuit or lights as the sunlight penetrated that deep! Shorts, T shirt no lights at 110' in a Texas lake! Only time I've ever experienced that.
Dude, you just had a chance to either become green lantern, captain planet, or get One Ring to rule all the others.. I'm disappointed.. Anyways, the water level is crazy.
Pretty cool Scott! Reservoirs are pretty neat place to explore. We have one here in NY, The Sacandaga Reservior. It actually has a village under it back from when they flooded the valley. I haven’t dove it yet. It would be cool to some day! There’s a church tower that becomes visible when the water lowers during the summer. I was wondering what kid of drone you use? Anyway, great video with great shots! Keep em comin!
Why must you have the loud music in the back ground? I want to hear about what you find NOT be listening to this loud music. It makes your videos unwatchable!
Thanks for the feedback I think it may have to do with what kind of device you are watching these videos on…are you streaming this to a television or watching on mobile device?
As a video creator and a producer of all of my content I did not learn about audio ducking until a couple months ago. It helps take the music lower when one is speaking and once you stop speaking the music goes back to the tone that you put it. Very helpful
What a cool place to explore!! Thanks for sharing!!
You are welcome, I hope you enjoyed it!

Thank you! I use a DJI mavic air ii
Great video scott!
Thank you Mike!
Am under the impression that the extremely low water level is a combination of drouth and over pumping for municipal water. To much urban development.
I agree, hopefully we get some rain soon
