At a few points you are bending the tone...the tone is slowly descending. I wish you would talk about that too, and explain what you are doing! That's what I saw someone doing with a kanjira that really got my attention and brought be here looking for more information.
I'm not sure if this applies to kanjira but this could explain some things. When you apply pressure with your other hands fingers and move inward or outward from the centre of the drum, it alters the tone. You can do this with toms on a standard drum-kit, apply pressure on the head with a stick or your hand and continuously hit then experiment by moving inward or outward to change the tone.

This is not fiber made khanjira. However, REMO promotes fiber made khanjira which can't give the sound of original khanjira coz it is banned. But how these legendary musicians are getting original khanjira and from where?
