Segovia famously released a collection of his 20 favorite Sor studies (from among the hundreds Sor composed). Segovia recorded, annotated, and fingered each piece. Many of them are among the most difficult Sor composed, and his edition became a standard in the classical guitar repertoire
Per me è tutto perfetto invece.
Essential studies for any classical guitarist - and beautiful too. Thanks for sharing this. John Williams, of course, is note-perfect.

I have this in book form from 1945, thanks for uploading, it's invaluable.
The genius John Williams.
My faves - no.5 at 5:24 , no.6 at 8:05 , and no.19 at 39:07
best numbr 10
@@Insidia85 Best? there is no best here, its not a sport
18:35 Opus 6, Number 6 is very challenging for the left hand to keep those thirds going up and down the fingerboard. JoMhn Williams, Maestro.

This bring back my studied guitar 50 years ago when I was 14.

Oh my god. Mind blowing renditions. Impossible to obtain alone.
Grazie per queste meraviglie❣
OK! Beautiful, thanks.
I love hearing the phonograph needle circle down to the end of the record at the end of side 1 !
Fantastic compilation. I’m learning Opus 35 No. 22 in B Minor and aside from the music, I’m loving the finger play that puts the piece together.
Yes, and also Op. 31, no. 16, Op. 6, no. 11.
The Beethoven of the clasic guitar !!
very well played! Reference!
ESTUDIO 9 is my favorite !
Always appreciate so much for John's music, but sorry for Julian left to the another planet . Still do remember the Due , Encouragement with Julian .
Wondrous ! xxxxxxx

Justo lo que estaba buscando.

👍👍👍👍
Op 35 no 17 beautiful counterpoint.
Etude no.11 is my favorite
Excellent; I wonder when they were recorded??? Thank you for sharing! But better put the right name of the composer in the title.
18:36 ok THAT is a hot track. It's two pages long and this tempo seems impossible
its just 3rds right? with some bass, the shapes aren't that bad, it's not that fast tbh. But still williams executes it quite nicely
@@borik_ca0988 just try it... believe me, at this tempo, its another level of difficulty from the normal tempo.
This is amazing my friend thank you ~ would u do more classical guitar videos in 432hz? It’s such a pleasure to listen
Love Estudio 19,but it's a left hand cramper!It's in B-flat.
Please explain "by Segovia "? Written by Sor.

I like 13 and 18
There are sufficient ignorants in this world who will believe that these were actually composed by Segovia -- thoughtless title.
