I love this song, we sing in it church and i had not heard the original before today. @Jeremy Riddle, I only wish you had written the lyrics to say "The king of love had given up his life, the BRIGHTEST day in history" as with this one act he saved us all! There is NO darkness in that moment, only the purest of love ever reaching to everyone and every land far and wide.
