This might sound- what ever. But I had been depressed for a while and my house became a disaster! As a single mom of a wonderful toddler boy, and in full time college I never reached out for help. So I finally did and over several days cleaned up my house in some peace and quiet. These videos really inspired me to just take it one day at a time and dedicate the time to set aside to get it done. I also got a robot vacuum to run at night while we sleep. Such a time saver. Anyway 😊 thank you
It doesn't sound -whatever, cus I bet loads of people here are in the same position. I am! You ain't alone girlie but you have absolutely got this!!! One step at a time!
I like the story about being (over) prepared even for simple things because you just never know - that was not boring at all Emily! Something to think about for 2022 actually 👍
Loved the Maths story! I failed GCSE Maths too, had to re-take and failed again. As I did an Art & Design Degree I didn’t need it luckily and no one has asked since. There’s this teacher quote from back in the 80s/90s ‘you won’t have a calculator with you all the time’ ! Haha
Hi emily, I’ve had a bad few days and waiting for you to upload has really been my one saving grace. Thank you so much, I don’t think you realise how much of a difference you’ve made to my day and how much I look forward to watching your videos. Love always, Katie xx
You always look so calm and peaceful in your videos, I wonder what is the secret to remain relaxed, please share it ? I'm talking about the sanity! :) mums life is so busy and stressful...so many things to be done...
Emily you have the most beautiful energy, I really respect what you do with your videos and the working hours you put into them shows, I really enjoy them, BTW I admired your energy to put on make up and do your hair in the mornings, is that you regular routine before shores around the house? if so, just WOW you are my hero.
I loved that story time. I found that really inspirational. I was always bad at maths and I wanted to do a degree which had some basic maths involved but was too scared. This story kind of made me rethink that. Maybe I'll go for it after all.
I love colour organisation. Has any one seen home edit they do this. I’m defo inspired Thanks been watching you ages. Doesn’t everyone think even tho u don’t know Emily you feel you do. Must mean ya good at what you do x
I loved the maths story. I too failed Maths at school. However a few years ago I went to university as a mature student. In order to secure my place I had to sit a maths exam. I revised like crazy for weeks. Which paid off as I passed with flying colours! Xx
I've a small number of books from when I was in primary school that I've kept for my children which I can add to their shelves soon. I would absolutely be keeping them for my grandkids. My daughter got my very first doll who turned 37 this year, so I'm all for the sentimentality of certain things.
Only just started watching but want to mention before I forget… i have brown sugar and cinnamon on porridge too! But i got a seperate jar and mixed them together to make my own cinnamon sugar and use a couple of spoonfuls from that x
Thanks for sharing such a productive day! Your videos always give me motivation to do the things I want/need to do, smiles! Also I loved the mini story time, it wasn't boring or silly, that is something you are clearly proud of, as you should be, and you wanted to share that. I enjoyed getting to know a bit of how you became you and learning more you in general. I find the things we like to share or talk about often seem boring or silly to us, but to others it's actually very interesting to see into another person's life and can even be extremely helpful, smiles!
Hi Emily. 😢 it broke my heart too packing up my girls books. I donated them to a charity shop but in hindsight I wish I kept more in case of grandchildren too. Love your videos 😘 thanks for sharing
Is it just me or am i the only one who really wanted to see a xmas day vlog with kids opening presents. Think its ur first year not doing one?!?!. Love it always gives me ideas for the next year. X
I didn't do very well in Maths either - I managed fine in class but just couldn't get my head around the exam questions under pressure. I later completed a short Open University openings module in maths and it helped me immensely!
Enjoyed the camera work today 😌 love that you kept going with maths and I can’t want to see the airing cupboard. I’ve always wondered if clothes get a musty smell in there? I’m from Cape Town so we dry out clothes outside all year round 😅 never seen one.
Hey Emily, hope you’re all well. I’m happy, good and well thank you good evening love this A productive day get it all done with me video. I’ve have really enjoyed this A productive day get it all done with me. It made me feel happy and motivated too. I love all of your jumpers especially the dark pink jumper is probably one of my favourites jumpers! The brown sugar with cinnamon and milk porridge looks good delicious and warming especially in the winter time. I had porridge this morning with milk and cinnamon. It was really nice. I love all kinds of porridges without any peanut butter in them. I love porridge just like you. Tuna paste bake is yummy and tasty at this time of the year. I love your grey beautiful headband. I have a slimmer headband to that grey one but my one is all pistachio, green and floral headband. I love it so much. The songs played in this A productive day get it all done with me are You got me too by Loving Caliber, Be Mine by Gamma Skies and Nobody loves me better songs and music. Hello Emily! I loved the video. I always look forward to them. It is a bright spot in my afternoons. I love my satnav. I am very directionally challenged. Lol.
Loved this 🥰☀️ I failed maths twice too, finally nailed that GCSE third time lucky to get to uni 😂🙈 but I never got called out for how good my maths was once the course started, you go girl 😂☀️
Hey Emily! I really wanna thank you, you inspire me a lot I learn so many things from you, and also I'm just like you I have a problem on location and maths too 😂😂😂 but I studied philosophy anyway please don't stop meal prep that's my favourite part thanks ❤
The airing cupboard & book case look great. Well done. I also struggle with maths & have to use a calculator when I'm shopping so that I can work out how much the total is. When I was at secondary school in the 70's we did CSE's & I failed my maths one. I also struggle with maps. I once travelled with a friend in her car & she got really annoyed with me because I couldn't work out how to read the map. That was a very stressful journey.
I managed perfectly well during the lockdown with an air fryer which roasted and baked; microwave, instant pot and small induction hob. I’m sure that you will mange too as you are nothing but adaptable. I didn’t know how much I missed my oven and hob until they were replaced after lockdown. Good luck 👍🤞🏼
Hi Emily. I definitely rely on my SatNav. I’m also directionally challenged 😁In previous videos you have talked about how you will manage cooking when your kitchen comes out. I was wondering what will you do about your washing machine when your kitchen comes out? Xx
So Matt is trying to arrange for a washing machine to be plumbed in to our family bathroom upstairs. I actually think this is more important than the kitchen! We go through so much laundry! xx
@@mrsemilynorris That is a good idea - did not think of that. I was thinking of family laundry fairies or the laundromat. Perhaps when you guys have finished your renovations, you could do a video about top tips when renovating. Things like plumbing in a washing machine to a bathroom other people might not realise is possible. Could be another great you and Mat video ! Think it would be very interesting 🤔 xx
I enjoyed 'story time' :) wasn't boring at all. Just goes to show that if you fail at something but keep trying, you can succeed. Well done. I will tell my eldest this story, as she's in Year 10, studying for her GCSE 's and she's worried she'll fail. I've told her its not a big deal if she does, but she doesn't believe me.
Great tip about the trays in the airfryer ( didn't no you could do that 😂🙈) only got mine recently, great video Emily 🥰 my mum and mother in law kept mine and my husbands books and our boys have them now xx
Microwave is a game changer when you don't have a kitchen. You can cook every vegetable, pasta or groats and just buy some ready teriyaki or tomato sauce and have a dinner.
Hi Emily!! I really enjoy these type of videos😊. I think that Home Bargins is amazing, and normally I'll go in for 1 thing... and then walk out with like 2 bags of Goodies!! Can't wait to see your Instagram about it. 😊. Love your 🌈 📖 organisation!! Definitely going to try your pasta dish.. still use your Beef Stew Recipe!! 🍲. Have a lovely day Emily. 💚
Hi Emily I'm not gr8 starting the new yr n I'm seeing a lot of comments from others saying the same, i moved 2nd December n house a building site which isn't good for me being so houseproud n organised, i got ungraded in maths exam, basically sat for 2 hrs n did nothing 😅
Matt always makes me laugh! His facial expressions are on point. 😂 Also! There's no way I could save books for my grandchildren and I'm much closer to that life event than you are (I have older kids -- my oldest is 26 with no kids, the other two are in their late teens, the last two are still youngish). I am a bit of a minimalist so I can't even imagine holding on to anything for that long, lol! Not in a judgy way at all, I'm a little envious! haha I get rid of just about everything. 🤣
I tried boxing up some books from when my children were small. I'm sad to tell you that all the bindings dried out on the spines and the pages cracked and started to fall out. You might want to take pictures of your favourites and bless some families with these books while they are still good.
Loved your maths story, I just took my maths for the 3rd time, waiting on my results and I am doing a digital marketing course as changing career and I have hit the big 40, I don't get my certificates for my course until I pass my maths 🤦♀️
Emily I’ve noticed you’re not doing 3 videos a week at the moment. Is it Tuesdays and Thursdays you’re posting videos? Are you planning to go back to 3 a week? I miss seeing them pop up in my account lol 🤗
What a cute math story. I didnt pass on my pre exam math test at teacher training school, but luckily I had a very talented teacher who helped me out to pass the actual exam. Ps if the teachers made the students who flunkend stand up, shame on them🤣Xxx Marit

Well done u ! X
Thank you for sharing you story about school. You didn't let that first test stop you. That's gold.
Thank you Matt for helping Emily with the painting. You are a great helper and husband.
I like the story about being (over) prepared even for simple things because you just never know - that was not boring at all Emily! Something to think about for 2022 actually 👍
I just wanted to say I totally love it when you do story times, never boring!! 🤗

You always look so calm and peaceful in your videos, I wonder what is the secret to remain relaxed, please share it ? I'm talking about the sanity! :) mums life is so busy and stressful...so many things to be done...
I’ve now purchased the same airfryer as you as I’ve seen you use it lots of times and I love it and use it constantly 😍

You inspire me to do better, not more 🙏❤ thankful for that and you

A productive day or at least a good one, starts with watching one of Mrs Emily's videos. They're my happy place. 😊

So far no smell. Someone recommended putting some unstoppables in there which I am going to try. Thank you so much for watching Andrea xx
Love your videos Emily you have such a good attitude. Also, I was scared for you painting in your clothes!
Happy to hang with you Emily! I had a productive weekend as well!
I just loved your maths story. I am so relatable. honestly, when ever I had maths exams I would do heavy studying the night before. ;-)
Ah at least I am not alone Orla! Thank you so much for watching xx
We organise our books by colours too. So many blues haha. We have a 4x4 kallax and a Billy bookcase full too. Homeed life

The bookcase looks amazing🌈🌼
Emily! You made my morning! Was just wondering if Matt’s able to go back to his salon? Haven’t heard about it in a while?
Maps… i feel your pain. Always a trouble for me too. 🙃
I’m exactly the same with directions! People try to give me directions and I’m just like ‘stop talking it’s not going in, I’ll use sat nav’ 😂
Emily, I failed high school math too, and I think it gave me a phobia/complex, because just the word math makes me anxious!
Motivated as always🤗
Emily, your skin looks great! Do you get any treatments done at all? 🙂
Nice ideas, will definitely try them..
Rainbow bookshelf is soooo cute and I’m always tempted but no way could I remember what colour every book is so that I can find it 🤣
Loved your maths story, I just took my maths for the 3rd time, waiting on my results and I am doing a digital marketing course as changing career and I have hit the big 40, I don't get my certificates for my course until I pass my maths 🤦♀️
Emily which air fryer do you use we are a family five worried they won’t be big enough xx
Lovely video
When you take it out of the freezer do you have to defrost first , or can it go straight into the oven xx
Wonder where are your pans from Emily? Thank you 🌟
Thank you for your inspiration!!!
Emily I’ve noticed you’re not doing 3 videos a week at the moment. Is it Tuesdays and Thursdays you’re posting videos? Are you planning to go back to 3 a week? I miss seeing them pop up in my account lol 🤗
Cool video 👍love that song in the beginning ❤️

Hi Emily. Love your videos. Where is the rug from in Jacksons room?

I would love to be a midwife but my maths lets me down! Iv done my gcse maths 3 times and can’t get past a D! What was your revision technique? X
