Völkerball is the German name for the game of dodge ball. Literally it means Peoples's Ball. One could also think that the combination of the word Ball, being a dancing event like English ball or prom, in connection with Peoples and relating to the musical act Rammstein, means Dancing/Musical event of (all) peoples. The album was recorded during the show in Nîmes, France, on July 23, 2005

Oh oh happy birthday to me! This has always been my favorite song from that cd. I’m so mesmerised by seeing them, before RUclips and they were rarely played on mtv…. This is a awesome way to enjoy the best band (no comments from the ppl who read mine) on the planet! Dam Dam! Deutschland Erwacht!!!

It was only in the last few years I found them myself. I didn't have MTV growing up and music other than public radio or church stuff was very frowned upon in my parents' home. They have quickly grown to be my favorite band and the first ones in my life that their fans and the band themselves feel like they are family. Also, Richard's smile at the front of it, and Flake's dancing both are beyond precious!
