I think it would be a GREAT approach to make her not the killer. Throughout the films, we've seen these parallels between her and Pearl, and how at their cores they are almost the "same person." It would be expected to make Maxine a killer since they have the same ambitions and obstacles. However, if West decides to make her not the killer, it could partially serve as a moral statement on the lines of achievement and humility. I would love to see this approach if they take this route.

I watched Maxxxine and liked it, but I felt it was predictable and Pearl is still the best of the trilogy. I can't wait for your thoughts, your Pearl video is the best I've seen on the movie. Thanx!!!

I’m excited to see it but I agree the big name stars kinda turn me off. I didn’t really get to know Maxxxine in the last film but I guess the take away was the final girl doesn’t always have to be pure- trope so would like to see what kind of bad is in her, especially by starring in a film called “The Puritan 2.” Would also like to see the return of Pearl or any connections to her in Maxxxine. I agree she was a product of Mia Goth’s writing and am sad she didn’t co-write for this one. Would love to see more from her MIND. (MIA GOTH RIGHT’s AND WRONGS 😤) As always, ty for making this great video! I was looking to similar vibes to these kind of films so I’ll check out the horror genre, Giallo, you mentioned. 😊
