31:48 @1havepatience they will put concrete to secure the metal into the wall or floor up there. And they need more metal braces on the bottom of the landing frame to make the landing solid and firmer preventing the chequered plates on top from denting or caving in as the bars are too wide apart if a heavy person steps on it could happen or get noisy. 30:58 about your question of it maybe being restrictive space they could attach some more metals and widen the landing or balcony with extra metal to the sides like a cantilever style to widen the space up. 30:50 you are right they need yo put metal beams bars and braces in between all the beams bars to strengthen and widen it. In all you will have 4 long beams bars having 2 of it on the sides of the current two, with the metal braces between them keeping the chequered metal sheet firm and wider on there. You should be a fabricator and designer. Looks good from your last description
@1havepatience I hope they used chequered plates on all the steps including the landing or balcony space to avoid slippage. There's also a type of waterproof material with grips like sandpaper or glasspaper that they put on surface of outdoor metal stairs to prevent slips, with the yellow grippy tapes to make the edges of the steps more visible. I think the chequered plates will also be good having tiny holes made in them to allow water to sip through instead of sliding down only..just some ideas
Patience thanks for sharing. I kind of share the sentiments about the span being a little long. Would you consider welding crossbars in the middle to support the top down human body weight
The landing distance is too far, it should be very close so that the last foot step should be the top concrete. it kinda little dangerous to land on in my opinion. the stairs is nice but it should be close to the floor landing.
@@1HavePatience exactly so you can even sit up there sometimes and have you drinks while supervising the kids playing around or in the pool. Yes it's good to have it widen up. Sometimes I think its best to scribble a diagram on paper for them to see what you mean exactly because not all people can imagine things even when you explain it to them. You know people have personal stuff going on in their heads in Ghana so a lot are absent minded, thanks to the economic issues.
Well done Patience, it’s all looking fabulous! 🫶👏
Thank you 🙏🏽 🤗 💕

They should have dropped the landing at 4 inches so that water doesn’t enter the house.
Congratulations

No, she wanted it this way to have a balcony style space at the landing. It's perfect.
That's how I want it.

Patience, I may have missed the relevant video. What is the purpose for installing a staircase at the back of the house?
Fire exit
Why are you saying "okay " if you are not okay? Remember that you are paying for their service.
Are you a single woman building your home? And where are you in Ghana, my I ask???
Nice job. Please stop chewing gum while you’re filming. I could hear every bite and it was very distracting.
Yes, my apologies 🙏🏽
The microphone picks up everything, even my breathing! 🙈
