      What is the name of your book? I want to buy it . You should put title of your book in the title of this RUclips video. After 4 back surgeries I was on 4 Oxy 80s a day. They never lasted 12 hours. Maybe 6. I had to go to rehab ( 2005 I got medical help to get off them...ANYONE CAN TOO! THERE IS A LOT OF HELP NOW I could not do it cold turkey )to get off them after being on them for 3 years. They took my soul & brain and I didn't care if I died. I am truly lucky they did not kill me!

    A family just buried their daughter last Saturday-she had a good job, a good husband, but things went downhill when she went to the doctor's and was prescribed oxycodone. She became addicted to it, and it killed her. She lost everything, and in the end, lost her life to it.

      I lost a brother in much the same way. He had a liver transplant and eventually developed painful scar adhesions for which he was prescribed oxy. He became addicted and eventually died from an accidental overdose. It was ruled accidental, and I always wondered if the fact that his new liver was not ready for such an assault

    Absolutely sickening... I was 17 yrs old being prescribed Oxycontin 80mg 120 per month for knee pain in Florida in 2001. I had no idea what I was getting into and it led me down a path of life that was absolute hell. I am now opioid free and have been for 2 yrs. It took away my late teens, 20s and half of my 30s to beat the addiction... Purdue absolutely destroyed my life and thousands upon thousands of other life's and they could care less....

    This is one ot the most compelling interviews I have seen. Being in recovery for over 10 years thank god, I too was railroaded in a state that completely allowed doctors to write scripts for opioids and it impacted my entire community. I have lost 8 friends I went to school with: I lost my future, my marriage ect. I was not an addict before oxycontin: I was turned into one when the doctor lied; the sacklers lied the whole medical community lied- and said that as long as I took the medicine as directed I wouldn’t be addicted. The sacklers should be in prison.

    If I am paying my attorneys 1.2 Billion, I want my attorneys and the Department of Justice to pursue criminal charges and Capital Punishment against the Sackler family and CVS and Walgreens and other entity that was involved in the Opied crisis. Then I want all attorneys and the DOJ attorneys to release any money that they took on any state cases. for their fees for them to get paid off by Purdue, CVS and Walgreens and any other entity that was involved. So they would not purse criminal charges against Purdue Pharma and CVS and Walgreens and any other entity. I want criminal and Capital Punishment charges brought up against Walgreen's and CVS as well and any other entity. I want victims rights and restitution for victims. And to see all that contributed this Opied crisis to get arrested and have there life's ruined for killing my friends and victims and knowing what they did was wrong and unlawful, like drug dealers that they were instead of walking away with a slap on there hands. I will say this, I will make sure they pay. With all my legal knowledge. I will use it and if they do not pay today. They will pay for it tomorrow. Because, there is no statue of limitations on pre meditate murder! I will fight until I die. And I will make a difference trust me on this. I will not get bought off like the Department of Justice Attorneys, and all the Attorneys that are working on these cases. No one is respecting all the individuals and victims because all the attorneys all the pharmaceutical companies all the distributors have paid off all the attorneys and all the Department of Justice Attorneys that are involved, they don't care about the victims, they're just concerned about their pockets $$$ and act like Racketeers and Mobsters. they should be a shame for representing the People. People need to go to jail and stricken their lives and serve time for a minimum of 25 years as killers as they are, if you kill someone and pre meditate it, and you are killing multiple times, Then you're considered to be a serial killer, face the law now and get the gas chamber or electric chair. Because, you were saying when you did the crime and have no remorse on killing many and knew exactly what you were doing. So who attributed to this should go to jail for a very long time or die of capital punishment like every one else that pre meditates to kill. And, have all their money taken away by the IRS like Pablo Escobar and any high ranked cocaine dealer. And have all their funds distributed to all the victims and individuals that they did harm to. I am going to request "Capital Punishment for everyone from pay offs to ignoring the facts of what a Life meant. The serial killers knew what they did and always got life imprisonment or DEATH for pre meditate killing! And why are federal judges allowing them to walk from capital punishment, it's because they got paid off as well. This should not be allowed!

Why not sue Budweiser Co for people who have killed how many others for their addiction and breaking the law? Everyone knows drinking can be addicted, so should nobody be allowed to drink? • @Unbotheredbythat
      @Unbotheredbythat 3 года назад +5

      Nobody's trying to take your pain meds or access. Further, people don't choose to have that addiction chemistry activated in their brain. Science needs to create meds and anecdotes to prevent this while giving people access. They've got the money if they'd stop exploiting us. So no worries, we support your need or right to your pills but killing us wasn't and isn't okay. Find a solution that addressed both.

    • @Unbotheredbythat
      @Unbotheredbythat 3 года назад +7

      Fyi. They falsely advertised this med could not be abused and wasn't addictive and should be prescribed freely even after they were made aware it was quite the opposite and was leading to countless deaths, like my child's. They laughed and thought it was actually good for business. I have a headache but will expound on this later.

There were never advertisements on television, unlike other prescription we see daily, or alcohol advertising worldwide. Does alcohol even have warnings on it? If your Dr suggests it's ok to have a glass of wine with dinner and you become addicted, is he at fault along with the wine company? We may as well sue France and vineyards while we're at it.

      @@SouthernSilverExchange I wasn't just around then, I was probably on it, or something like it. I did a quick search to see if there were ads and didn't find anything. I don't remember ever seeing an ad for it, but since I don't have proof, I'm not going to argue the point. What I will argue, is there are literally millions of pain patients relying on these medicines right now, who continue to responsibility take them in order to have some quality of life, and they're not dead . Why should pain patients suffer for the minority that look to illegal dangerous drugs. Why should pain patients be treated like they're on probation, or be denied quality of life? My medicine allows me to still function independent and keep working instead of going on disability. We are subjected to abuse at pharmacies, Drs are afraid to treat us and insist we are subjected to dangerous injections or surgeries in order to justify to the lawmakers, random urine tests and contracts. Many pain patients have committed suicide because Drs are afraid and the pain was unbearable. So yes, I will argue and defend the millions of innocent suffering people by no choice of their own being lumped into statistics of opioid deaths that are really fentanyl or heroin deaths. Would you take insulin away from a diabetic and tell them to just loose weight and suffer, or BP medicine because after all you shouldn't eat the fries, and some of those medicines don't even work and can kill people. We're not trying to die, were trying to LIVE!
