I used jio for past 5 years . Due to current 5G upgrade in network I faced
1.Call drop
2.No call waiting response
3.Data speed low
Now I switched to airtel.
I used BSNL in SIM 2 for
Remote location, Travel, call connectivity and
3G speed good compared to jio 4G.
Jio sim use panum podhu , when someone call calling will not come ,after sometime msg will come as you had a missed call.
Have you faced this issue?

FYI, Jio (sister company) has the most number of towers in India. It has implemented this way back from 2014 in TN. Rest all are sharing the towers but not JIO.

Yes jai is exactly right. All of the streets around me has jio fiber connection pole in their street. But for in my street there is no one jio fiber pole. And they are not ready to build one. Because there is only 2 people who are opting the service in our street. So we took connection wire from near by street over lots of houses.....😢😢😢

But in BSNL staffs are under PSU. Class 1 officer are Govt staff.

5g has multiple part implementation, also there is sub6 and mmw, the concern about distance is specific to mmw and in market like India infra will use mmw in backend to provide wifi service to end user, since most phones are in mid and lower end. Whereas sub6 is similar to 4g but an organic upgrade, which can scale bandwidth upto 100 mhz, which was limited to 20mhz per carrier in 4g LTE. Also infuture there will be lower bandwidth and higher reliability need based devices, live meters and health devices for which provisions were made available in 5G - Wireless Engineer, Qualcomm

I was tried BSNL for supporting public sector... but very poor performance in internet not even whatsapp msgs sending.... even 10yrs before 3G was really good speed but current 3G in BSNL is intentionally speed reduced... so I switched to Jio again.. if 4G with 1MBPS is enough for me to browse outside waiting for BSNL get 4G all over india

5G isn't a necessity. I'm having a 5G phone. But when I switched to 4G it is actually faster than 5G
I believe the 5g network depends on the relay devices that need to be installed on the towers and that have to be installed on all the existing towers, of course on the seamless 5G experience we would need the 5g towers or this can be implemented through the separate relay devices in the sky scrapping buildings. which would need a lot of cost involvement. In India, the 5g experience that we have now is NOT 5G, only the US is been experiencing that as they have mm wave allowed where as in India it is not implemented.
The point here is, 5g at full coverage and speed it might be on the go, but it's all about price and even in 4g the data vs price costs more than broadband

I get double the speed when compared to 4G , The speed are like Wifi with 150 MBPS speed . I get 5.10 MB/S speed , The 5G you talk about is practically too costly for erection process , So Current NSA and SA 5G services provided by Airtel and Jio is good to use and better than 4G
There are Non stand alone (NSA) and stand alone(SA) 5G roll out happening, Operators are offering NSA roll out now,speed is good enough compared to 4G, in future operators will roll out SA(High speed 5G) with standalone 5G towers in future, internet speed and voice quality in calls will improve, 5G will be a good help in educational and health sectors in near future👍 so please don't say 4G is enough for me, in long run each app we use will consume high data so 5G is right way moving ahead😊
