set your atr period to cover the london session opening or nyse period, if you're trading smaller tfs. For example if you trade at NYSE open on a 15min, then 14 period ATR is fine as it covers the London session and gives you a good overview of the volatility to be expected. Also don't use 2x atr stops if you're daytrading or scalping.

Now 15M fractal level may not be robust(strength wise) enough--but 1H fractal is because to form 1H fractal, market could not penetrate THAT LEVEL IN 5 CANDLES WHICH IS 5 HOURS--and that is lot of data(strength).AND fractal on 1H chart is not just one man talking but line (support/resistance) drawn by millions of traders in those 5 hours. Just act on 1H fractal--and trade be in the direction of 4H/daily trend.For exit wait for opposite fractal. And we seek your wisdom ?

@@charlotteolivia5516 Trade a higher time frame than what you're currently doing and see if that helps. Just like styles make fights, different trading strategies are better suited to different time frames. The lower you go, the more you are directly competing with the institutions.

so if i use the 1 min chart and the nyse session has 540 min that is the period.i need to set the 0 line at 0.27?seems to work for me..
