- Although Southern suffered a tough 45-6 loss in their season opener against UL, Cajun Field belonged to the Jags at halftime as the 'Human Jukebox' band brought down the house.

Come on SWAC officials - - there should be guidelines for photographers during a band's performance. Throughout SU's performance, I was distracted by the photographers walking around the band formations. Was anyone else distracted?
Just think of them like they're judges at a DCI competition, lol

Do not want to get into any back and forth bicker but this is a really good band and entertaining...it will be tough at the Honda Classic. I prefer Ohio University 110 (Not Ohio State) and Kansas State - sure would interesting to see all the great college bands together sometime for some huge benefit on a neutral site.

Sorry, you need to stop lying. Both of these bands performed on the exact same day, meaning, they were doing their shows at the same exact time. Now, I'm sure, I cracked your face. You can pick your jaw up off of the floor now. LOL.....

They may or may not be true but they made it their own.
Rodney Player it definitely is true No they didn’t make it their own. When I say they are doing the exact transition that Tenn State has created for themselves, they are imitating to the t. They need to stick to their own style

T Amza no they haven’t. Tennessee State has been doing that for decades. Southern always fast March to block Band. They have never pin wheeled to the line and have every other person come out and flank. That is a Tsu staple. That also isn’t southerns normal block band formation. That’s Tsu’s

Same lame routine, you can see Southern once every 20yrs and not miss anything. Good job tho against UL.
But they still ranked as having the #1 marching band in the country by NCAA. Why is that if their lame. I guess the others cant even out do a lame band and thats sad....HA HA. Southern a power band and the thing is they're recognized for that awesome precision drilling. You can pick your cracked ass face off the ground. We know we the #1 band period. Its impossible to hurt a band who the NCAA recognize as the best in the country so your comments sounds foolish....LOL. Jealous SU wannabeeeeeesssss!

Really, SU is probably the MOST copied band outside of FAMU. JSU bites so much stuff off Southern (music and marching) it's a damn shame!

JSU is original and you can look at our half show and u will see that SU was basically doing the same thing as JSU, and FAMU band aint shit they aint even show up to the JSU vs FAMU game
