When he said that he feels bad for singers who would have been singing in her place...i felt that. Because, there was a girl in my class..her voice was soo melodious, whole school went silent whenever she sang, i would just close my eyes and felt her voice touching my soul, i could hear her all day.She was bengali.
I remember when she said in an interview: "I want to be the best pop artist in India"...and right away, I knew she wouldn't be that good. Usually, very serious and dedicated singers say things like: "I want to hone my craft". Their focus is on the craft itself and not the fame/title behind it. There are thousands of RUclips cover singers who outshine and outperform Dhvani. And they don't have a famous dad or top notch studio equipment or contacts.
I feel Sunidhi is amazing as she can sing both melody and rock perfectly as she has such a voice. Shreya has a very soothing melody voice even if she did well in chikni chameli. But If Sunidhi was chosen for that song it would be more perfect.
Sunidhi can't sing sweet songs with energy Her voice can be melodious or powerful She can't do both like Shreya Also Shreya can't go for intense powerful vocals of sunidhi Don't worry they are Chosen perfectly

Today's singers make me cringe a lot. They ain't real singers. But again we have some apologists who never agree with it, treat them like gods, call us as boomers and claim us to be jealous. Emphasizing on daily riyaaz and believing sangeet and sadhana, this hurts to the core that poeple like these are the ones getting all the limelight, getting all the praises from the general public. There are so many singers wayyy deserving but due to nepotism in the field, people like these get the chance to come in the public eye, whereas we are the ones who put in all the blood sweat and tears
