      Absolutely, the Wespac bank actually denied printing out My own statements which told me they understand and know that I am compromised, but my Narcissistic administrator never asked me if I wanted to be part of a group that shares everything, while the government allows anyone to make up many different aliases which really is stupido, and obviously a adjustment with our current technology, but the hate is rampant, men are legally allowed to pretend to be female, which is promoting fraud.

    I'm in America and have been hacked many, many times. After the 1st time, I put a Freeze on all of my Credit reports. My bank was hacked, my aptartment complex's network, my phone, one of my checking accounts, but i was called by my bank asking me if i just bought something in San Franciso and I said NO. The changed my account asap. I constantly get word my info is at risk due to something I'm connected to. I consider myself very poor and have nothing. I can assure you Biden, FBI, CIA will be doing nothing here in America. I happens everyday.

    If giant-sized organizations and all their staff can't keep their data safe, what hope have we individuals?

    • @unnamedchannel1237
      @unnamedchannel1237 11 месяцев назад

      Individuals are much easier to protect than lots of staff in a giant organisation. People that work for the organisation don’t care. It’s not their problem. Individuals have them self to account for - this is motivation.

    Like Kit Boga. Have you ever seen him in action on RUclips? He's amazing. He baits scammers by creating a fake account, complete with a persona of an elderly grandmother, and a whole fake online bank account as well. He hacks the scammers so he can expose their accounts.

    Now that the online world is a vital part of our lives every individual must become familiar with basic online safety. Financial institutions are (or will be) stepping back from accepting total responsibility when 'stuff happens' and either we lose money or our online identity is used for fraud. Corporations and Government could certainly do more. 20+ years in cybersecurity has taught me that, but from now on the responsibility must be shared and all of us need to up our game.

      Remember, PayPal always says, when you sign up, that they will never send out E-mails to people. All communication we have with PayPal happens on our account, for security. If we get an E-mail from Pay Pal saying our security has been breached, we shouldn't click on it, because that's a trojan horse to get into our account. That's probably where most people have gotten bit.

    I'm actually fighting a similar case with PayPal. I had an old account I hadn't used in years and forgot about hacked and used for scam transactions. In this field, make more jobs for computer whizzes and police. More powers for Police the courts and judges. Make additional laws specific to these types of problems. Common sense will never prevail. We have to evolve into a federal and international organisation with its own ability to bring cyber criminals to justice working in conjunction with Interpol and AFP,ASIO, and police. Police forces need to be larger with more powers and more professions. Im not saying this will be easy, but talking about it on ACA is not getting anything other than telling people how overwhelming this is and as always once ACA is over so is awareness until another cyber crime happens. We need follow-up and action now. Why is this lady whose identity has been stolen being charged or having to pay back millions of dollars when the authorities have her as a victim, and supposed to know, she is caught up in this without any contol or awareness that its happening? Shouldn't the "paper trail" be followed back to the original hackers? She didn't do anything wrong.

    About time, I have been ignored by Telstra who deny that I'm compromised by using my lack of knowledge against me, so I learnt some basics which ensured I was correct, as Australia is embarrassingly more worried about mass surveillance more than individual, safety. The banks well the bank I'm with deny that I have been a victim I have reported 3 times to understand the knowledge on our older percentage are blamed over and over. A family friend 86 years of age lost 1.2 million, which in my eyes is the fault of the government for enabling Cybercrime without actually acting on prevention, as laws aren't considered stalking when being targeted for this unbelievable dark unprecedented times of my life. NOT GOOD ENOUGH, SHAME ON US❤

      I'm a web dev and manage a big server that hosts a couple dozen sites for corporate clients. We probably get around 30-40 hack attempts per minute, 24/7. It's a US-based server exclusively for US companies and less than 1% of the attacks are from within the US. And 97-98% are consistently from either Russia or China.

    • @earthboundsculptures
      @earthboundsculptures 10 месяцев назад

      Or could those 98% attacks be from hackers who have read past page 1 on any hacking book and hosted their attacks from Russian or Chinese servers and multiple vpn chains to disguise where they are actually situated and hacking from?? you can host teamservers / listeners from any server in the world. Russia and China although are a heavy threat, are also great scape goats for local hackers to also disguise where they work from. The US 1% you state are most likely the US idiots who havent covered their tracks like the other 98% did. @@mk71618
