Despite of this beautiful campus nith is on its way to be a jail .....sorry if any of you get offended by my words ...but being a current student of nit Hamirpur i feel a large need of improvement over matters that you only know after being here and facing the restrictions and lack of resources......mainly the restrictions like in timmings of 7 pm ( for first year) , 9:30 pm for other years, outing allowed only on wed and sat for girls for 3 hrs only , you are not allowed to go anywhere outside campus except home , daily attendance for girls only , fine of rs 50 if you do not came for attendence on time (9:30 to 10 pm) , entry in register (for girls only )to go anywhere even in campus ie to walk , to play in ground , to go to lecture hall .......mostly all the things are just making this campus dull and makes student forcefully do study and only study ...all events the nimbus and hillfair mostly cancelled due to fights between students on even small matters ...girls go to night library with security guard and boys are free to go anywhere , with or without entries , without outpass , free without any guards ......like guyss seriously there are a lot of guards to seal girls in their hotel but not guards to make boys in control and make girls feel free ..thet just put on and on restrictions os girls saying we are for your well being ......
I am from nit-h. every hostel gallery has jio wifi routers and gives 120+mbps speed. We have Lan connection that gives 350+mbps (but not all ports are open , so we cant play online games :( ) and food quality increases every year. Tap k jarkhe 2nd , 3rd year k hostel yr :D
