I love your channel and I'm in the process of building with Teyuto. But I have a question that maybe you can answer. I want to use what I have built for Roku and I want to see what all of this looks like as well like a preview of it all. Now since your last videos on Teyuto they have added a lot of stuff. So is there any way you can help me out with this? Or make an updated video would be really great as well.
Hey great question! If I’m understanding you want your database that you’re using for Roku to be used for Teyuto? If so I haven’t really seen this possibly unless you’re just using Teyuto Core which would be using APIs etc. So if you’re a dev or have access to a developer you could but I would probably bring over only a few video’s manually and preview the site, UI/UX Hope this is helpful!
Thank you for the great video :) Question. I am starting a live streaming service. To begin with, I'll be targeting weddings, so one issue is copyright music and most other main platforms are an issue with that. And I plan to expand into a lot of different areas, so might need more than 600mins I'm just wondering if this would be a good solution over Vimeo premium. Or if there's another platform out there
Hey Cerl great question! I would first right out all of the features you need and why. If you're still starting out I think teyuto is a great start and if you need to have more livestreaming mins you can scale up in your account if you hit those numbers. Hope that helps and if you have anymore questions let me know, take care!
Great question! I would go to the app store and check out weshort.com/ to see their mobile app version. We'll be releasing our own in the coming weeks 👀
How does this compare to something like Odeum? Have it but haven’t used mainly bc they didn’t have live streaming. It’s offered now but it’s still in beta- wondered if I should pick this up for the more polished/simple approach to live streaming…? Any thoughts
Between the two, I would go with Teyuto. But note that Odeum comes with an app for free, with no additional fee, but with Teyuto there is an additional cost per month. But I like Teyuto's workflow better and UI better. Unless you definitely need an app right away, I would start with Teyuto.
Hi Doc. Thank you for your great review. Did you look at Muvi as a solution? I am considering them as an option for a educational vod streaming service.
Thanks Doc for all that you do. I am working on a website that is similar but I will deal with audio starting out. Do you know where I can get information on designing the platform to house, users that will upload their music and have for them to sell? I am having a tough time finding the technical info that I can use. Thanks again for taking your time to educate us.
Hey Earl glad you enjoyed the video! Hmm to answer your question to create a platform for artists to upload their music and sell it, I'll have to do some work on that. I could see it possible on Sharetribe or an MVP version with Softr but there are some factors prior to picking a platform. Is this currently an idea only or do you have a business or curating a marketplace for artists but you're doing it manually right now?
@@docwilliams I am currently doing it right now. In the middle of building the website. The main issue I see is configuring the members dashboard. I am using "Ultimate Membership Pro" to manage the users. I have a few people ready to blast the word when the website has been tested and ready to go. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my post.
@@earlpatterson6404 gotcha so it sounds like you’re using a WordPress site? For customizing WordPress sites I usually go with Elementor and Envato Elements.
@@docwilliams Hi doc, what platform would you use for doing PPV PVOD for a movie platform and done as a mobile apps (iOS & Android) in app purchases as I believe Uscreen does not allow in app PPV purchases

I'd like to see what the Mobile app experience looks like.

I want to start my own platform but I’m willing to start with one of these first
Sounds good! Hope all goes well

This Offer Is Amazing! Thanks Doc!
No problem! Glad to help out!
Hi Doc. Thank you for your great review. Did you look at Muvi as a solution? I am considering them as an option for a educational vod streaming service.
I have looked at Muvi! Depending on what you need to start out with, Teyuto's pricing is a better deal, especially with the AppSumo deal.

Amazing video! Thanks for directing me to this app.
No problem!!
Bro can this also become an app?
Great question! There is an option to use this platform as an app.
Message Teyuto support for more details.
Thank u.
No problem! Glad to help!
Is this still your platform of choice? In 2024
In general yes, but depends on the functionality you need.
Thanks Doc
No problem man! Keep me updated on your project!
Is the like vloud?
Hey great question! I would use these platforms for different use cases so this depends in your goals and functionality you want.

Thanks!
I am so so sad. I missed the promotion.
Sorry to hear that Agustin!
