First scientific clock entered in Nepal during the time of king Surendra Bikram Shah 170 years ago. Yet that wall clock is safe with me in good condition at Kathmandu.

Yo shah haru ta sabai po Pagal thay cha muji haru. King Mahendra and Birendra matrai nai thik rahechan. I think King Mahendra was quite a great guy; he would have become Nepal’s Lee Kwan Yew if he lived long enough.
