- Jo Stephenson is one of the top UK sea bass flytiers. She shows how to tie a classic 'fry' fly (filmed at the Sportfish open day in May 2013).
Jo is tying flies on the Bass Anglers' Sportfishing Society (BASS) stand. BASS is both a fishing club and an organisation dedicated to the conservation of the European sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax)

Great video and very neat work Jo!
Why not tie a proper Surf candy? That way you can get a natural looking, fish-like profile instead of a bulbous epoxy section with a flared out tail. No baitfish have that shaving brush profile.

it would better if you put the eyes under and resin all over
UV and unprotected eyes - not a good idea. Nice fly though.
