Cecile I get so excited when I am notified of your new videos! I gain so much joy and confidence every time I learn something from you! You make my tea or coffee taste amazing ❤while I relax and learn and practice 🎉😊
I love your videos! Your enthusiasm always rubs off on me 😊 I recently tried direct drawing using a white ink pen on toned paper and then added shadows with light and medium grey Tombow markers. Loved the way it worked out. Have you done something like that or could you talk about that sometime? Thanks😊
I did learn things in this video. I love the accuracy and the ease of adding details with pencils. While I do not have watercolour pencils as mastered as I would like, I know that there is a vast difference between InkTense and other watercolour pencils. InkTense actually layer and tend not to lift the layer below. This allows some really cool effects. I tend to get mixed results, but I have not worked out why yet. When I manage, it really comes out beautifully. Otherwise I settle for the watercolour effect I have created. So I only try layering when I do not mind if it works or not 😊. I would like to see the other video because I am hoping that you include "regular" watercolour pencils.
@@CecileYadro i don't know if these are really true watercolor pencils. they are actually "ink" that is activated by water, how ever, after it is dry, it will not reactivate like regular watercolor pencils or watercolor. these are truly more intense, also!!
Bonjour!

That's a good idea! I will make a video with colored backgrounds for urban sketching, and will add a part with highlights. Thanks for the idea!

Well, I'm using only Inktense, so I can't really tell about other brands of watercolor pencils. Thanks for watching my videos.

Yes, I'm discovering that this is ink and not watercolor. Might be why I love them so much as they are so pigmented.
@@CecileYadro they do definitely have a lot of pigment! keep on showing us how to use them!!! i have a set also that i am trying to use effectively!!

Just to clarify. The Inktense pencils are not watercolor pencils. They are water soluble, but they are actually ink, not watercolor.
Wow! I never read what's written on the box, it is ink, not watercolor! Well, I guess I learned something new today!
@@CecileYadro that's ok. Those pencils are amazing. I love them. I just wanted to make sure you realized they are ink.
😢 I thought you were gonna share the names of your 8 chosen Inktense Pencils for sketching. 😢
Sure: iris blue, Chili red, Deep indigo, Tan, Felt green, Sun Yellow, Leaf green and Baked earth
