I have one since three years now that i’ve been using a lot during my camping trips. I’ve putted a secondary convex edge on it and maaannn. I can’t say enough good thing about this beast of a knife. I don’t regret the amount i’ve paid for it at all and would buy it again. It’s literally the beauty and the beast all in one. Love it!

Man, I love the TRC Apocalypse so much! I’m going to try and get one with my Xmas bonus this year. Someone is selling a NIB 2022 model on EBay. I wanna pull the trigger now, but need to have the $ in hand first lol

The natural canvas mircarta gets SO much prettier when used/oiled. Very nice, warm brown color.

I have it with the green slabs and it is a great knife. It is a large knife but it's not so large that it's a pain to carry. I pair mine up with the Lionsteel M1 and find it a fantastic combination. Truth be told I use the little M1 90 percent of the time but the TRC comes in handy when you need to fuel up your twig stove of choice. My folder of choice with these two is the Benchmade Grizzly Creek. I do swap the TRC out for the Benchmade 162 or the lionsteel B41(both fit in the same sheath) at times when I want a little less weight. When I'm wanting to go light as possible I most likely take only the M1+ folder+ silky pocket boy and maybe Gransfors Bruk outdoor axe(which is useful) and this set up is what I take on kayak/packraft trips.

TRC makes such good knives. I have the K-1S from them that I scout carry often. Also with the apocalyptic finish 😁😁

That’s cool. I’m really blown away with this one. My first experience with TRC.

I had my eye on this for a while but it's too cost prohibitive, even with the cool packaging and nicer sheath. It's also very hard to get and I wouldnt want to settle on a $500 fixed blade for a plain jane version. Plenty of other cool fixed blades for half the cost. It's cool to have one, but it's cooler for your FRIEND to have one haha

Also, it's very big and heavy, so depending on what you're going to use it for, you might want to look for something smaller/lighter.

First minute is opinion confused with scientific objrctivity, and teaching it as some kind of (valid) justification. Actually not one observation or conclusion is relevant here. Ok, I guess this can be considered proof of genuine enthousiasme., and generously shared. But certainly it is nothing of a review one can learn from.
