@@LawnNOrder Glad to hear you’re still happy with it. Interesting about the Zero G, that must cut down on the weight when lifting it. I painted one post white to blend in with the posts and railing in the front yard, and put a black post cap on it to blend with the reel housing. The back I used a redwood post and coated it in Thompson’s Water Seal, and put a copper cap on it. Wish we could still post photos on RUclips!
@@minoutv7347 The only down side of the Zero G hose is the extraction of the hose. It doesn’t extract all the way until the pressure is released from the hose
Thanks for creating this video! I’ve been looking at these reels the past couple months. With all the liquid bio stims and ferts we are using, the hose management aspect is getting old quick. Is your 4x4 post about 4’ above ground?
It’s about 3 feet 6 inches above ground. I used the no mix cement and it worked perfect. This system is cool and makes the spray and pray easier by far.
SoCal Lawn N Order Thanks, Chris. I would prefer to mount it to a post than drill into our exterior stucco wall. So do you dump the dry no mix cement into the hole, add water, and then drop in the post right away? I’m going to be dropping in a few short posts for accent fencing in my flower beds as well. This will come in handy for both projects. 😊 I’ll look forward to hearing how this reel works out for you.
Minou TV I put the post in the the ground and the dumped the cement in the hole. Add water a few times and it sets it self in like 30-40 minutes. I believe it’s called Quick Crete No Mix. It’s small red bag. It was so easy to use.
SoCal Lawn N Order Thanks, Chris. I’ll be sure to put the post in first and fill around it. I’ve seen Quick Crete at our local Home Depot. Appreciate the advice 😊
Randy Man it actually worked when I attached my zero g hose to it. I did notice it didn’t retract as well but it can be done. If you send me an email address to thelawnnorder@gmail.com I’ll find out about the possibility of ordering just the reel. What size hose we’re looking to use in it?
Looks like a great way to handle your hose
Also, love having a lip to set my unit on
So hard trying to keep a straight face and not think of all the she said moments you would had. I’ll hanks for watching Justin.
@@LawnNOrder I catch myself every video laughing about those things haha so good

Hey Chris! I ordered a couple of them (one for back and one for front) and mounting one today and one tomorrow.
😁😁😁
I absolutely love mine. I changed my hose out to my Zero G. I am very fond Zero G hoses. You’ll get good use out of it.

Will it accommodate a hose of your own choosing like a green sears craftsman style ?
I have actually changed my out for the zero g hose. It works just fine. I am not familiar with the craftsman but it should work.
Love these reels ! I have a Hose link and another type from amazon really does save your back Thanks for sharing Chris
They definitely save the back. I’ll never go back lol. Thanks for the support Vito.
SoCal Lawn N Order yes anytime brother be well
Def need one of those. It's cool how you have it mounted on that post. 👍🏼
Thanks, definitely looks better than attached to the stucco.
Nice 👌🏾🌱
I’m hoping to get one soon! Looking forward to keeping my hoses up and out of the way with ease!
They make spraying and praying with an Ortho easier. Looks very clean too.
That hose is amazing I like the way it helps to retract it back! Nice video ... thanks you!
So far it has been very worthy.
😎✌️💪 awesome man
Thanks Ay Yn I appreciate it my man.
🌞Great looking hose unit!! Great video, had me hooked with that intro. 😂
Thanks for watching. I’m trying to get more creative lol.
So I take it you can't use just any hoes, you have to use a certain type? . Can you purchase just the box/reel without the hose and nozzle?

What makes you think she didn’t say something???? Lol

I enjoy being a goof. Lol

Every man loves pulling a good solid hose!! 🤣
