I hate this dichotomy @ 24:35 though because it's not about "believing" science. Science is all about questioning and refining and throwing away theories. It's about (or at least, this is how I see it) questioning the institutions and figures that instrumentalize the scientific method and try to mystify it and privilege it. The scientific method, just like philosophy , is open to anyone who is capable and intelligent enough to use it, or it's totally invalid. And it's not invalid. Any time I see someone has a yard sign saying "we believe science is real in this house" or whatever, my blood boils. They're just totally missing the point. Oh, yeah I Jack brought up pretty much the same point at the end. Good!

I would be interested in knowing exactly which version of apple's ios included the podcast app on the home screen out of the box. I think that it was probably around 2013 or '14. To me, that has always been an under-appreciated factor in the "podcasting renaissance."
