I came from a Meshuggah video where bloke stated that 'The vocals of Primitive Man sound like a street being torn up' and I have to say, bloody spot on
the band? great awsome, heavy af, loving it, the video, ... just great,, all those bands, the cult leader, Cursed, are the natural evolution of heavyness, raw, layered and thick sound,... what a time to be alive
I could be wrong, but... I think their message for this video is something along the lines of this sentiment: if you're enjoying these images, you're missing the point.
1: Primitive Man fills the hole in my heart where GAZA used to be, the world needs something this ugly. 2: where does one work where they get to listen to Primitive Man that necessitates the NSFW?
@@lj_maestro3391 *girl spectators touching themselves because they find pleasure in the man getting beaten up It’s fucked up but I also find it ridiculously funny why someone would find pleasure in such things lmaooo
I don't know if they did this on purpose or it just kind of happened, but the combination of the naked old dude (trim your pubes homie it's 2018) the people sitting around on the shitty couches and the Toobin' arcade game is such a fantastic contrast. I doubt many watching this are old enough to remember the game Toobin' when it was actually new but it's a really cheerful little game where you're a dude in an innertube floating down the river and you've got to get to the end. Basically it's the polar opposite of the music and everything in the video. Toobin' may be the least offensive game of all time as even in games like Super Mario you're basically a serial killer. No killin' in Toobin'. Just you, the river and your tube.
Abrasive doom metal is known as sludge, but that's often borrowing from the somewhat more energetic medium tempo genres of noise rock and hardcore punk. Primitive man has the the pacing of funeral doom metal, with the dissonant harmonies of both black metal and experimental writing, but all the crushing abrasion in terms of texture as sludge. Sometimes, this just feels heavier than a lot of other bands known as sludge, so some friends of mine have been calling it Tar, and lumping them in with bands like Crawl (one-man from texas, try "II"), Indian (try "Directional"), and The Body (try "Prayers unanswered").
they also incorporate the Crust Punk What Reminds Me of Amebix O Doom Element. For some reason, people say what's Black Metal when I don't hear any Black Metal. Noise or drone elements only

Primitive Man are one of the best things to happen to heavy music in a long time.
Everyone should see them live. Super fucking heavy and awesome. Also, some of the nicest dude's I've ever spoken to.

Every time I watch this, abject nightmares enter my life instantly! But I cannot stop, for how delightful the images are in my own mind. 😜
Yet another necessary, disturbing, and satisfyingly-raw confrontation with the worst of humanity.
The kings are back again. Can't wait for the album.
Wow that was probably the most impressive metal music video i've ever seen... BRAVO!!!

Probably a chainsaw and the amp is a monstertruck
Maximum volume at 100 watts with full gain is very heavy, and certainly heavy when tuned to...shit, A, I think.

Then you don’t understand Sludge Metal.
Don’t worry, it took me a while too. But now I love this stuff.
I can’t get into In Flames, not even before finding stuff like this with heavier and thicker riffs, and long songs.
