What's weird about the new announcements is that it's not completely different from the old ones. (Cantonese for KOT and YMT was pretty similar). Also, the cross platform interchange announcement for Chinese seems to get rid of the last part. The new ones in general are spoken more clearly but I feel that it's too slow.
I just can't like this new announcment. It way too slow and lost of many vibrant and energentic from the original one. It just sound so dull and boring. I still can"t figure out why they chose to re-recorde whole annoucement but not use the old one.when previous one is definately better. Madarin one is more horrible.this had been complain before when MTR decide to add that on Light Rail. It just worst and even on Mainland china or Taiwan no announcement had sound this slow.Any native speaker should known enough to hearing.not causing more distraction.

東鐵綫（前稱九廣東鐵）在2001年SP1900投入服務起至2004年東鐵綫延伸至尖東站前，東鐵綫列車有「鴛鴦廣播」，果陣時MLR為舊廣播；SP1900為新廣播。跟住喺2021年2月6號R-Train投入服務至2022年5月6號MLR全數退役期間東鐵綫又有「鴛鴦廣播」，當時MLR為舊廣播，R-Train為新廣播。直到今日Q-Train投入服務起第三次有「鴛鴦廣播」，M-Train同C-Train為舊廣播；Q-Train為新廣播。
P.S. 在油麻地去何文田之間有介紹新車嘅廣播
這是港鐵九龍南綫於2009年8月16日起採用市區綫版本的終點站廣播，即車站名，這是XXX綫的尾站(粵普英)，然後多謝乘搭港鐵(粵普英)。
不過即做2011年C-train 投入服務仍使用舊廣播，未來K-trian和C-train 翻新時改為動態路線圖可能會統一使用

I agree that it's slower than before, that is why some of the announcements cannot be completely announced.
