Honestly i really love them so much, not only they’re super interesting and have amazing sense of humor but arent afraid to be open about oppression and expression, being feminine and affectionate with each other considering these things are still very taboo for men in society especially since they have this very masculine Image with their cybergoth/punk/rock. When watching the preselection (along with the usual drinking game) the presenter mentioned that Iceland is the country with the lowest unemployment rate for young people. So our theory was that the Icelandic labour agency picked the only unemployed Icelandic teens in the whole country and forced them to take part in ESC, because all the jobs in the fish factory were taken. After seeing their reaction to being in the final, I think we were right.
They are brilliant artists, and their song is a masterpiece of pure conceptual art. I want them to win so badly, but I see that in the vast majority of the tops they are not doing extremely well.
